Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    Can I please have the illustrated backgrounds back in my life!! I miss the cute pictures of calming landscapes and animals

    The redesign was supposed to provide a bunch of great things--be more efficient, organized, etc--and it missed the mark on every one. The redesign is HARDER to use, needed features are hidden or removed, features that are not important are prominent and cannot be removed or minimized. Aka--PRIORITY miscategorizes a lot of mail, email previews are useless--I can read my own emails, reword the subject line when I send an email to something totally out of context (this is just bad). Sorry, I cannot find a single positive change on the redesign--I can give a long list of negatives. This is a dud and the forced rollout with no advance notice and when system requirements are changing--with no notice is inexcusable.

    New version is awful. I cannot find mail that I had stored in folders. Is yahoo deleting it? If so, they never said anything to me.

    New version terrible. read e mails are clear. unread faded looks like they are read. this version sucks . bring back the old version. Please

    Please bring back the old version of Yahoo email. I cannot understand let alone follow this new layout. How do you know what emails are on my priority list? I'm sorry, this new yahoo mail is not what I expected.

    Please Fix it! Some ******** screwed it all up for us! Do you guys ever test before running? THIS SUCK TOTALLY! I can not operate like this and even can't change back that's screwed up too! So Gmail here I come I guess unless you're going to fix it! This isn't the days of AOL anymore.

    i cannot follow the new layout at all. it does not work well at all.
    how do you empty trash? you can see it, but cannot empty it.
    why cannot you drag a mail from trash back to the inbox? you can't. you have to delete it, or find another icon to move to.... somewhere.
    why did you lump all the emails together when you forward or reply? then you cannot reply to the right person. YOU do not save any space that way. Instead, you have to rewrite, copy, and send 4 brand new emails, because you cannot forward the body of the email

    The "interesting" thing about the new version (which was also valid for the previous major "upgrade") is that a lot of useful features disappeared without any reason ("not all users use them" is not a good explanation when the features haven't obstructed anything, and often this is even not the right explanation).
    It's even more interesting that for many of the features to disappear/change, a lot of people have actually put efforts and have been paid to achieve this disastrous outcome.
    It's ridiculous how the IT industry operates nowadays (unfortunately, I've been part of its downfall since the dawn of Yahoo) and Yahoo mail is at the forefront of pushing the barrier of uselessness.

    Bring the Classic version (and even some of the features of the basic one) back, please, and begin listening to people.

    Twice I have gotten spam/phishing emails with links to DocuSign something related to a bogus PayPal invoice or a bogus BestBuy GeekSquad invoice. They made it past yahoo's spam filter and arrived in my inbox with the dumb new AI summary up top, lending credibility to the scam emails and helpfully (/s) providing the links right up top for me to get scammed.

    The AI summaries are annoying at best, and at worst, they're making Yahoo an accomplice to scams. If I was getting emails from rocket scientists maybe it could be a nice feature, but I'm not, I'm getting notifications that my credit card statement is available... /and that is already a summary, I don't need that summary summarized./

    THIS IS THE STUPIDEST AND UGLIEST UPDATE I HAVE EVER SEEN.......and I absolutely hate the comments from IA. It never makes sense to make a change JUST because you CAN make a change. When something is working -- leave it alone!

    This new format is a step backwards. It is very wrong of you to force me to use this new format. You need to give me the option to return to old tried and true format. It only allows me two other e-mail accounts to switch to. This is a huge disadvantage! Huge! And when I place the cursor on the To: address, it doesn't list the actual e-mail address! This is terrible, when that person has several e-mail addresses.

    What are all these colors and categories? An airplane? None of this makes sense. Are you trying to drive us away? I can't stand to look at this inbox now.

    Also, please make it easier to delete emails without always hitting ads! Awful!
