Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Please bring back classic Yahoo Mail.
1. In new format , in search results using a word, why is the folder found in combined onto to same line as "Subject"? Visually it is difficult to process. I would like the "found in" folder in separate column so I can sort output by "subject" "folder" etc.
2. Would like all folders displayed for ease of use vs in pop-up windows.
3. Font is faded out, smaller, and difficult to read. Many Yahoo Mail users are older and appreciate larger / darker font.
4. Bold means unread. What are the grayed out lines? I can't figure out the significance. We do not need this additional colorcoding. It is distracting.
5. There are no column headings in the Inbox to sort by sender, subject etc.
6. I do not want/need AI to decide what is a priority in my mail. This is distracting and useless.
7. The circular icons indicating sender are not useful. I want to see who the email is from so I can eliminate spar/illegitimate addresses.

Received this email from Yahoo this morning:
"Hello,
Thank you for contacting us back.
I understand that you are requesting to switch to the classic version of Yahoo Mail. I'm sorry to hear that you have been inconvenienced. No worries, I'll do my best to assist you accordingly.
At this time, there is not an ability to switch back to the older version of Yahoo Mail. We're very sorry for any frustration that this may cause, but we encourage you to please try out the many new features the new version offers!
I know that this is not what you hope to hear and we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. You should post your suggestion to add that function on our feedback forum. Our product teams review the posts and look for ideas to include in future releases. You can also access our help site for more information."
I encourage you to use the online Yahoo chatbot and create an inquiry...

This layout is horrible. I dont want the icons on the left, I dont want the contacts on the right. I want max visibility left to right of my email box. Terrible, terrible layout and very inefficient.

I do not like the new version of email. Too much scrolling to read headline and emails. Cant get a suitable size font. People are creatures of habit....change is not always good especially when you are trying to work efficiently. Please provide the option to everybody to go back to the old version.

I've used Yahoo mail for many, many, many years. I so disappointed in how hard the new version is to navigate. You have to page through your inbox. You cannot copy and paste a photo into a message. If you have multiple email ids, you cannot easily transfer amongst them. You cannot select and move multiple emails without going to the top, selecting an "Action" and then selecting "Apply" - multiple moves to do a once simple function. The once simple and streamlined Yahoo Classic is permanently gone. Since this has been forced on us with no selection to stay in the classic yahoo version, it looks like many users will be out looking for a new email product. I think that Yahoo is overlooking a whole group of long time users and keeping the simplicity of a product that worked very well for many of us.

Absolutely HATE his update. It's just awful. There's so much stuff broken with it, or stuff you have just simply removed because... reasons?
Please revert to the old mail UI. Why would you mess with something that work's fine?

Asking for a friend..... does YAHOO MAIL get more revenue by increasing the number of clicks required of a user to accomplish a given task such as delete the contents of the SPAM or TRASH folders?

Please give us the option to use the "classic" version. We really liked that product and the new one doesn't work for many of us.

Don't like the new version at all. Confusing and complicated compared with the old one.

"classic" version offered is clearly not the previous version of the website that existed. I want my categories back, the ones that actually divide your emails by day, instead of making them a visual clusterbomb to read through like Gmail.
