Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Go BACK to Classic!!! I can't automatically go to the next email when deleting emails - I have to check each tiny box next to each email and navigate to the delete icon. You can't search for all emails from a sender with the little magnifying glass between their name and email!
It looks like Gmail and I don't like Gmail. -

Like all the other users that have posted on here, the new version SUCKS !! We have all given it a try and it still SUCKS !! You tried several years ago to change and people didn't like it, but at least we were able to go back to the Classic Mail. It is a disservice to the long time users not to give us an option to go back to what works for US !!

My email is important to me as I use it for business as well as personal. The new format is disturbingly difficult to view and navigate. Please return to classic email

Please return to classic email. The new format is confusing, irritating to the eye and very difficult to navigate.

Ugh, I'm trying to type an email, and I highlighted some text and hit delete, and it deleted my draft without even an Undo option. And then I sorted by Unread, and tried to scroll up and it kept kicking me back down to an add that looked like an email. unusable.

This "new" version is unusable. Having to search for the SPAM folder and the Trash folder is ridiculous. I do not need, nor require, AI "help" in handling my emails. I certainly don't want AI creating Calendar events without my doing so. You have made this product terrible. I need the ability to change back or I will be getting rid of Yahoo.

I can't tell how many unread emails I have, and when I went to respond to an email, the type on the original email was so faded in color that I couldn't read it to reference it in my response!

As others have said, this new version is absolutely terrible. The inter face looks terrible and the functionality is even worse. I cannot find an option to delete multiple emails at once anymore, when I select multiple, there is no delete button, making it difficult to cleanup junk emails. I had to dig to find my spam folder so that I could make sure that I was not missing important emails that were accidentally marked as spam by the system. I could go on, but it seems like many others have the same feelings as me and have already voiced their opinions.

Agree. The new layout is much more difficult to read. I really dislike the graying out of items once they've been read. Not a helpful change.

Hi there, we will be merging all threads like this into one. We know there will be pushback and wanting to go back with any new design. We hope you'll give the new experience a try and yes, we are reading the feedback on how to make the new version even better, with bringing some old features back. That is the plan!
-
Hi Samuel, as with any new design we did anticipate pushback and wanting to go back to the old design. The pushback hasn't been bad and we are happy with the numbers so far. We know whatever we say will not make you happy, but unfortunately we have no plans to go back. We hope you give the new experience a try!

I totally agree. The new update makes everything hard to read. Just keep it simple! I'm probably going to switch as well. This update is pretty bad.. It's annoying.

Agree - this is an absolutely horrible user experience. In one view, I can't see messages very well, there's a stupid hover box that blocks the ability to read the message so you have to slow down when you are trying to go through emails quickly and delete all that you don't need to read. Then there are some emails that are greyed out which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to scan your inbox. In the other view, you lose functionality that you had in the old version. Just bring back the old version. It was easier to read, navigate and faster ALL AROUND. Just stop it. If you don't allow us to bring back the old version - I'm out. No other mail interface is a problem - this is just TERRIBLE.

Agree with everyone. Please bring back the old version, which was much easier to read and navigate!
Maybe ask users what they think before making such drastic changes! -

Could not agree more. The only reason I have stayed this long was ease of use and how easily is would sync with my phone. If it stays like this, I'm out. WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS TRYING TO RE INVENT THE WHEEL.

Yes...... This new version put upon us SUCKS!!! (excuse my verbiage) I usually don't mind a dark mode, but seriously?! It's confusing. And hate that it goes to The Starred emails first & you have to go to ALL. Then figure out the Unread or Read. The highlighting is horrible. Anyway..... That's my opinion.

This so called "NEW VERSION" of Yahoo is not working for me. It's harder for me to read any of my emails, and I'm not able to find the attached version in case I need to attach something from the menu in the folder, which was quite easy. The old version was much easier to obtain. I don't know who came up with this particular version. It truly sucks. What works for "you" and what "You" who created this nonsense others don't agree. Besides, I didn't change from the old version to this ****. I went to my email one day, and for some reason this unwanted version changed the entire outlook of my account. Let's not forget the audacity to not allow a button to be given to go back to the "Old Version." This is such a sneaky tactic to force people to be stuck with something that many of us are not pleased with. It's useless. Personally, I should have been given the opportunity to choose the version that I like and want to keep. It's good business practice to give people the opportunity to make their own decisions about their emails. Botton line, I need the "Old Version" of MY email to be able to understand how to find what I'm looking for in an easy way.

I agree! I hate this version and it is so distracting and hard to read and even after days of trying to get used to it, it is NOT working for me. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION.
