Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Sorry Yahoo, but this new version SUCKS and I HATE IT!
It's hard to read, it's harder to navigate, you made it overall WAY LESS user friendly!
Why do you want this to look like GMAIL- I HATE GMAIL because it's not user friendly and hard to see things.I can't tell the difference between read and unread anymore. You used to have keep classic as an option, but now I guess you are forcing people to use this new ****** one.
I'm seriously going to have to decide if I want to keep my email here. I can barely read it. NO GOOD.
I'm looking for a new job right now and it's a TERRIBLE time to have a new version of email that I CANNOT READ and is hard to manage.
BOO! Bring back the old (SEE: WORKING) Version! PLEASE!

The old version was ok.
I honestly don't like this one much. But as in any field when something is good it needs to be changed to have something to do. -

I feel as this person does. and what they are asking for is what I am asking for. I NEED to previous version. I cannot do this format. Also, don't "FIX" what isn't broke. Yahoo should have asked users for their opinion first!

Need category called "SWITCH IT BACK"!
This "improved" version really stinks. It's too big and in-your-face. Missing the date separation of the previous version. Have to hunt for the Spam and Trash folders. Difficult to differentiate between read and unread. No way to compact the view. Looks too much like GMail. Guess if I wanted to use gmail I would have. been using yahoo mail for years and really liked it. This new version NOT so much. Why did you have to "fix" what wasn't broken. Whose hair-brained idea was this?? -

why would yahoo, arbitrarily change email look and format without consent of users?!

Just fix the new one. So far I can't tell which messages I've already read, I'm missing the arrow telling me that I've replied to a message, I can't find my trash and spam folders, I want to get rid of the contacts pane on the right so I can see more of the heading and preview, and I don't like the blue and want to change my colors. That's all in the first day.

This is crazy. Why did you change something that wasn't broken. Please let us go back to the older version.

I did not have a warning about a change. I hate this new version. Guess I will have to use another service, unless you can let us go back to the other version. I lost my emails, and I run a business.

How can you improve things? You could make Yahoo Mail functional like it's been since I first signed up for this address in 1999.
How many unread messages do I have? Don't know, b/c the only place that shows up is in the actual window tab. When you're like me and have 50 tabs open at once (PhD student here, I need to shuffle back and forth between a lot of books and journal articles) it sure would be nice to glance at the sidebar and find the information I need.
You say try it first, we hope you like it. I've tried it and I recognize a ploy to get me to sign up for your paid product.
If this is "improved" you're not going to be selling many upgrades. No one in their right mind wants to pay $5/mo for something Juno got right in 1996. This UI/UX is cumbersome, ugly, hard to read, lacks information, is NOT helped by the AI you're using to save overhead, and it's ugly, ugly, ugly.
I've been just about legally blind since I was four years old, and the only way I can sort of see what's going on in this downgrade is to bump up the magnification on my browser to 120%, and that pushes even more out of my line of sight.
Even in dark mode, this dreary space sets off my vertigo like looking at one of those black and white striped optical illusions. Avoiding that is one of the reasons I've stuck it out here for so long. Gmail/Outlook, along with being a nightmare to navigate, make me dizzy.
Obviously, ABLE-BODIED PEOPLE WITH EXCELLENT VISION ARE NOW YOUR SINGLE DEMOGRAPHIC. These are the people least likely to use this service and Yahoo in general.
You'd think I'd be used to this kind of disregard by now, but it's incredibly frustrating, especially when my job and university are contracting their email out to Google, that I don't have a usable fallback anymore.

Please stop changing the format of my Email. I have no desire to get onto the new version. If I had I would have accepted the new format when you notified me some time back of the new option. I don't appreciate your doing this without my permission. Ihave had this account for over a decade and would not want to move to a different email carrier.
