Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Absolutely terrible new version. Please go back to Classic or many of us will go elsewhere, including Google. This was a very bad idea and should be reversed!!!!!

There is so much wrong with the NEW Standard version WHERE do I begin?
1.) I can't see both of my email accounts with out toggling them STUPID needs to be changed. PLEASE PUT BACK!!
2.) refreshing your inbox to see new mail is also stupid. PLEASE put back.
3.) Moving files sucks now too PLEASE PUT IT BACK!!
Long Story short.
WE ALL WANT THE CLASSIC VIEW BACK. Where is the option to put it back?
I will be writing about this until it's done or if it's not done I will be moving completely away from YAHOO mail. I have been a user for almost 20 years. Changing all my emails away from YAHOO will be a tough move. It will be worth it if CLASSIC VIEW is no longer available. -

The new version is awful. Why the change? Please give us the option to use the old version, the real version, not the "basic mail" that sort of looks like it but is not. I would even pay for this service. GIVE US THE OLD VERSION!

The new version is clunky and feels visually cluttered, yet provides less informational density and ease of use than the classic version. This is exceedingly poor graphic design work. Poor form over function. To top things of, as others have pointed out, no one asked for this, and forcing it on users feels dictatorial and contemptuous. This is change for change sake, for the worse. I wager if you offered the option for users to revert back to the classic version, they would. Not strictly out of habit, but simply because it was better. Try it, and see! Thanks for nothing; will be migrating to Outlook shortly.

Please put back my old email format. I hate the new one. It is not as easy to read or sort.

I agree with other people- this version feels too cluttered.
Please add a toggle so users can go back to the original version if they want. -

There are several things that don't make sense about the UX of the updated mailbox. The biggest issues to me are that I have to search to find the actual email address that an email came from instead of it being displayed at the top like it was previously. This is a large security issue since so many scam emails come through email and one of the easiest ways to spot them is a suspicious email address. The other large issue I have is that the preview pane is way too small because there is a little widget (with the more option) that seems to only be used to open a calendar or notepad in a different tab... If the design is determined to look "modern" and have widget style layouts then we at least need to be able to easily customize what we want and where. I do not think the new design is superior in any single way when compared to the previous design.

In the meantime, I'll be migrating to Outlook.

Stop experimenting. Your constant changing makes users annoyed and they will quit Yahoo in favor of other email accounts

The funny thing is that users (including myself) are finding this new version so bad that they immediately change to the cringeworthy version of the basic email ASAP. The comment feedback link on the new Yahoo mail page is hardly ever seen and the distain is very underrepresented.

If you're going to change things, it should be an improvement. This isn't. There is zero benefit to this new version.
