Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    This is the worst email I have ever used. Put it back to the original version.

    In the previous, much more user friendly version of Y Mail +, I could see at a glance in the upper left corner, if I had NEW MAIL in my Y Mail and my G Mail. Now I have to open a sub menu and go looking to see if I have received new mail in my other email. Yahoo is bullying out G Mail. From the number of suggestions and complaints posted, it appears you don't care what your customers want. Maybe G Mail will be more responsive.

    Hate this new version! I've had Yahoo forever and I'm ready to ditch it! Can't stand this new version and can't stand that I don't have the option to go back!!!

    I HATE the new mail. OMG it's horrible. Hard to use. I can't find my stuff. Why did you change it

    Do you call a copy of g-mail an update? This is ugly. I want the old version back. There is or was a reason I used Yahoo instead of Gmail.

    Please bring back the previous email format. Did not even know it was going to be changed. This new version is not very user friendly. Thanks!

    I already have reading compatibility on when using my browser. Now Yahoo! has made it more difficult for me to use the interface. Why is everything changing and not allowing people a chance to modify for ourselves? I don't mind the ads, but now, that screen is the same size as my message area. That is so stupid.

    ... we have no choice but to try the new experience -- and we hate it. It's not as good as the old experience. That's why we're wanting to go back. (And that perky "Thanks!" is SO sincere, and frankly comes across as a big middle finger.)

    My emails form SUBSTACK are GONE! All of them! I write a Substack blog, the past emails from when I released my blog are gone. I subscribe to blogs on Substack. I get emails when a blog is released. Every day at least 2 or more Substack blogs get released and I receive emails, there were NONE today! Why were old emails from Substack deleted from my email? ALSO PAST EMAIL FROM THE HIGHWIRE ARE GONE! I do not delete emails from The Highwire. Today after the update, The Highwire emails are not there. Why are old emails getting deleted?
    Not to mention, the format is ugly , hard to use and see what the emails are. Why are there colorful circles in front of the emails? Just do not need that. Go back to the original format!

    Have a vision problem and this new is so much harder to read, the old one you could select size for incoming mail, also background on old classic seemed easier to read . Liked the set up better too. Not easy to use, this new version sucks!!!
    Please go back to the old Classic Version!!!!!!!

    I'm so angry over this change that I'm fighting with my wife over going around ****** off all the time. This wrecks my principal means of private electronic communication and the new version, which was implemented with no notice represents a severe degradation of form and function.

    It looks like a neo-modern hellscape, you can only read two or three words in the title, it's difficult to see who sent emails, and why on earth would I ever want an AI bot to triage my email and summarize it for me? What, do they think I'm an uneducated moron with an IQ of 4 that can't read my own email and need an invasive machine to do it for me?

    I've been using yahoo mail for over two decades and although will take me literally months to change over all my communications to a new email, but if this is the best they can do, I'm out.
