Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    The new setup is not very logical.
    Improvement was not necessary, since it was perfect

    1. MUST HAVE: Hard to tell which email has been read and unread (I see grey vs white, but still confusing). Old way of bold/no bold much with a Blue Dot is MUCH EASIER and CLEANER
    2. MUST HAVE: the icons/image next to the sender is totally unnecessary. Clutters the inbox view. Just put the little box and blue dot (or diff color) back in there
    3. MUST HAVE: Many times I deleted emails I wanted to keep when deleting in bulk. Check boxes are there but they go hidden when you slide off that email to another one...just confusing.
    4. MUST HAVE: This is a no-brainer....when I deleted emails i wanted to keep, finding the trash is hard..and then once you do, dragging back to Inbox is impossible. Allow Trash Folder to be fixed in left sidebar.
    5. The large screen on right is distracting. I upgraded to get rid of the huge ads, but then just the paid version has this huge wasted space that I always have to click on the >> in middle section to expand right. Just make it so If I click >> once, it keeps it like that.

    Not an improvement. Don't worry. Outlook has been trying to improve their version too, but haven't really succeeded.

    I don't have an idea to submit, because I was completely happy with the yahoo mail prior to the new one we're using now........this is email, not rocket science. I don't understand why updates, changes and new formats are needed. Just give us a platform where we can get our mail. Easy peasy!!!

    I hit all and it only shows TODAY I updateg to your new improved email

    Previously, sapcing between messages was compact that allowed more emails to be seen on one screen. This has disappeared. Read/unread toggle icon was available on the left of each message which was useful. Search icon was available on the left of each message that allowed to search all messages from that sender in one click. These features should be reinstated.

    I absolutely HATE everything about the "New Yahoo Mail!" I finally found how to switch back to the prior version after much time and effort. Even your instructions for that are unclear and mischaracterize how to actually do it! There is no "Go Back Button," for crying out loud! Your putting me on the new version was like rubbing sand in my wounds, along with the announcement that you will no longer provide 1 TB of free file memory. That was the reason I've stayed with Yahoo Mail all these years in the first place! Now I will have to spend much more time and effort to delete close to half of my stored emails to get under 20 Gb - which is only 1/50 of the previous amount provided for free. And I will have to spend a lot of time in the future working to stay under the new, low memory limit. That is - IF I stay with Yahoo Mail. Now, there is far less of a reason to not switch to Gmail, or other services. In fact, it would be far easier to stay under their limits starting from scratch, rather than having to work through 26 years of email that I have stored with Yahoo. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH YAHOO!!!

    Mail view style has changed from Classic, and I find the Classic layout is much more efficient seeing all the folders as well as being able to view and toggle between two email accounts at a time.

    How can I change back to Classic permanently??????

    new version is very frustrating to use and we have lost functionality. please allow us to step back until you get the busgs out. i'm having to reload alot as screen gets locked up.

    If I use Zoom as I have poor eyesight, the previously opened emails are obscured by the search bar, also how do you highlight, bold or colour text?

    Go back to he old one, if this is not fixed I'll be going to another email provider.

    I was not even given the option of keeping original Yahoo mail.

    After 2.5 decades, I will be changing my email account, as yahoo would be aware I can export everything to another provider.

    I do not like the new format, it's not as user-friendly as the previous version. I was able to change it back before, I can no longer see my additional mailboxes. How can I go back to the old layout?

    I hate the new look it takes up more space for less usability. I dont need flashy rounded graphics just basic visuals.

    The new Yahoo Mail layout is horrible. I often have important emails go to spam, and it's harder to access my spam folder to check it.
    The lack of pages means there's a truly overwhelming number of emails all in one enormous list. It's psychologically damaging.
    The ads now take up an INSANE amount of space on the right, making it hard to parse the email summaries enough to know what emails to open, and making it VERY hard to read the email itself, as only a small portion of the email can work at a time.

    IT IS NOW IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN AN EMAIL IN A NEW TAB BY CTRL+CLICKING!!! This is SO FRUSTRATING!!!

    I've been using Yahoo mail for literally decades, and this is the first time I've seriously started thinking about getting a new email address and provider. The enshittification y'all are displaying is beyond belief.

    it's the most awful inbox i have ever seen - all brands taken together. it feel like going back 20 years in time!! What's happening to you, Yahoo people?!? I want to be able to have much smaller inbox police size, more emails displayed at once, have the day split, etc. this is awful. awful.
