Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    Whoever thought this new version was better. should be fired. So should the people who approved it! Return the classic version now!

    It's not user friendly and a challenge to read and find what you are looking for. I wish that, when something works, that you could let it be.

    DO NOT CHANGE!!!

    I have another account which changed without my knowledge and it's totally ****. Can't find things, hard to navigate, can't even move spam from my inbox to the spam folder. And that's just a few issues I've come across so far.

    If it's not broken, it doesn't need to be fixed.

    KEEP CLASSIC MAIL!!!

    The new look is awful, and the functionality is even worse!
    I can no longer find email I filed in folders that I've created over the years. How can I get access to folders where I placed valuable email?

    I don't like this new format at all. What was wrong with the old version? Did someone come up with this mess on their own, or was a committee involved? If I were in charge of Yahoo, I'd fire everyone who put a finger in this pie.

    When I switched back I had a ton of emails waiting for me that the USELESS new mail program did not display.

    Thank you so much for letting us go back to the basic mail. I was so happy to find I could do this now. The new version was so difficult to use. I missed new emails because they were in gray and looked like they were already read. I have been using the basic email of Yahoo for 28 years now. I've been very happy with how easy it was to use and find things. I agree with a lot of the comments from others. Please let us use the one that has worked best for so long and let us chose which version we would like to use. Thanks again for letting me go back to the old email version. So much better !!

    The old version has worked for so long. I tried the new version for two months and was hoping to adapt. It was a blessing when I saw the switch back reappear.

    I cant delete messages, because the top of the page is cut off. When i am able to delete, i dont know how many messages are deleted. The classic version format is easier to read. I really dont like this new version at alllll !!!

    I really dislike the new version. I have intellectual impairment which makes it very difficult for me to learn and retain new information. This is very hard/frustrating for me. If the system I know is no longer available to me please refer me to a simpler, more user friendly option.

    Put it back the way it was, DO NOT LIKE THE NEW YAHOO AT ALL!!!! It's not easy to navigate, it's too stark white with no color themes at all. No emojis, harder to attach anything to your emails too. You should've just left well enough alone. I've been with Yahoo well over 25 plus years. Leave it alone or give us the option to choose what we prefer!

    REPOSTING UPDATE made on March 20th on how to "SWITCH TO OLD YAHOO MAIL":
    Below are the steps I followed to revert back. I hope this works for those of you who love the original version and NOT this new mail version.
    1. Go to the NEW Yahoo mail and REFRESH the page
    2. On the bottom left column, CLICK the 3 little dots > ...
    3. Click/Select SETTINGS
    4. You should then scroll down to see on the bottom left column the choice to click on "SWITCH TO OLD YAHOO MAIL".

    I agree to (please!) GO BACK TO CLASSIC VERSION of Yahoo. I finally found the option button to choose the "old Yahoo look". Thank goodness. I assure you, I DID try the "new" look but truly it is AWFUL in many ways! The appearance is not lean and easy to read. The option keys such as delete, fonts, send, move, etc are scattered and I find myself looking for them. I don't like the way the folders are shown. This gray and white image of emails opened or to-be-opened is not a helpful appearance. There are so many "little things" that make the New Look very klunky and time consuming and challenging for viewing, let alone management. I am very SINCERE in my criticism I'm writing here. Your website says " At least TRY the new version of Yahoo." Well, I DID TRY it but it's horrible. I've never seen an upgrade from Yahoo that is this POOR (a soft word). I'm truly asking that Yahoo KEEP THE OPTION for us to use the CLASSIC VERSION. Please do NOT take it away. When I finally found that option button and it went to Classic, I let out a sigh of relief. I could finally SEE what I was doing. Thank you. Joy
