PLEASE RESTORE THE TRASH EMPTYING 7-DAY SCHEDULE
Despite their FAQ page info Yahoo Mail has NOT been emptying my Trash folder every 7 days. Evidently this is their way of forcing me into a $14/monthly paywalled plan by leaving almost 800,000 emails in my Trash folder without emptying them and claiming "Your mailbox storage is full" even though my inbox is currently EMPTY. How can I "manage storage" when Yahoo has apparently disabled the only effective tool to manage it? Hmmmm... could it be they're just after my money without providing any added value?

Hi Samuel, I think you are misreading here... we are happy to clarify.
Yes, when you delete an email it goes to the Trash folder. After 7 days, we will automatically empty your Trash folder. But if you deleted a bunch of emails, you do not have to wait for the 7 days. You can certainly empty the Trash folder yourself. This will free up space, so make sure you empty your Trash/Spam folder. Thanks.
