accidently opened AD at top of emails causing my PC to lockup due to a security alert
not an idea, but an observation and suggestion. Please screen the AD's that are posted above the emails, to make sure that they are safe to open, because i accidently opened an AD and it triggered a very loud and noisy SECURTIY ALERT or something, and locked up my PC, with a voice that instructed me to NOT shut off my PC and to call a phone number, but i shut off my PC anyway, for i believed the AD was some type of SCAM, and i was eventually able to restart my PC with a little effort and stress and relief that no obvious damage was done to my PC. However, since the SECURITY ALERT was triggered or caused by an AD in my yahoo email, and not an actual email, yahoo email needs to make sure that the AD's are safe to open, or just remove all AD's, if yahoo email cannot guarantee that the AD,s are safe, like the AD that i accidently opened with much regret
