I know some of your customers are new and young and love this format. But please allow us oldies to please keep our old style basic yahoo mail. I cannot understand the new mail and it hides my emails and conversations. I really struggle. PLEASE, help me get my old email back. PLEASE. Thank you for understanding

I have just nearly missed an important work email because I didn't realise all new emails would be filed beneath older emails that I'd already read, instead of appearing separately in my inbox as they used to - I am absolutely furious that you have made this change. It is now so easy to miss new emails coming in, what on earth were you thinking with this appalling design feature? I no longer have any trust in my own email account. Thanks a lot Yahoo.

I have been using yahoo mail only because It was light and didn't rely on Javascript to run. now you turned to a **** that is worse than even hotmail. If I want to use a fancy looking mailbox that downloads 50meg just to show me my 1KB email, then I just move to gmail or hotmail, why would I use yahoo that when I send email recipient immediately screams oh look a boomer!

The new version of the browser email is awful, please can there be an option to go back to the previous version. Seriously considering dumping this email address if it is not possible.

Why I'm not allowed to just use the basic mail? This pushing of the so called "new view" down our throats is becoming really annoying to the degree of becoming insulting! Should I switch to Gmail like everybody else? Or try the Outlook?

Hi, Since yesterday you changed the style and format (theme) of Yahoo Mail. I really don't like it and have become accustomed to the old style. How do I get back to the former, Yahoo Classic? Thanks

So I've been using this new layout for an hour or so now and my God I hate it. When you click on an email that has been previously read you only get the first line and have to click on it to make the whole text appear - why on earth would anyone think this is helpful??? Because it looks tidier to have everything hidden away when you open it? Well I opened it to actually read it, so wouldn't it be better if the email as a whole was visible as soon as I clicked into it?

I really feel that whoever designed this new layout has thought only about how it looks and not about how user friendly and functional it is.

Also, every time I start a new email the text is tiny and I have to enlarge it - why??? So irritating. And then the pop up box with the text options doesn't disappear and it blocks the view of the bottom of the screen. It's just one annoyance after another. >:-(

do not like new yahoomail go back to before

Good morning, I went into settings on both of my yahoo accounts to turn them back to the old yahoo layout and nothing has happened. I'm really upset with this change that I didn't ask for and having to navigate round this new look inbox has really slowed me down this morning. Why is there an option in settings to return to old yahoo mail if it doesn't even work?

Also, all of the pop ups - so irritating!!!!

This New Yahoo Mail is the worst I have ever seen. Basic was perfect, elegant and functional. New Yahoo Mail is out of focus where once the imagery was sharp and focussed. The email headings are tuck away to one side. I have to manually reduce the size of each email because the only option I have is large! What's gone wrong?

hate this new look!!!! it looks like it was designed by a ******* ******** 2 year old!!!! it looks like ******* DOG ****!!! you are going to get more people leave your website for good. as this is just plain ******* AWFUL!!! and i love how you ***** have removed the 'Go back to Basic' on your pathetic settings page!! who ever said YES to this design, needs to be fired immediately! as their **** up is going to cost you a lot of money!!

Option "Swith to old Yahoo Mail" does not work - it does nothing when selected. I've been using Yahoo Classic Mail for over 20 years and don't want to switch to the new layout. Please don't force it on me - I want to stay with Yahoo Classic Mail.

How about leaving it alone. All this extra **** I do not want and didn't ask for. I just want the email account that I have had for nearly 20 years to work and be easy to navigate. Every time you "update" it it gets worse. Hopefully you will soon offer the chance to just go back to basic mail. I don't want apps I don't want access to my phone contacts and I certainly don't want AI. It is all useless ********, my email has been fine for 20 odd years now you seem to think I want all this extra ****.
