Colors
Please restore my old format of the Yahoo Mail. Please restore the colors, design and everything as it was. I can't distinguish between new mails and ads, there's no structure, everyuthing seems just a bunch of mixed trash in an Inbox. UGLY UGLY UGLY and worst of all, confusing and non funcional. Please restore my Yahoo Mail, especially the INbox with its format and design

I honestly don't understand why Yahoo Mail had to redesign the inbox again. The previous classic and basic design was fine, and this new one is both unattractive and uncomfortable to use.
The purple color is overwhelming, and the page is far too bright. When I switch to dark mode, the purple becomes much too dark and harsh. Either way, it strains my eyes and makes checking my email an unpleasant experience.
Did anyone consider users with vision problems before rolling out this redesign? Not everyone can comfortably use the same colors, brightness levels, or contrast settings. A design should make things easier to use, not create a reason to avoid using them altogether.
At the very least, please give us the option to customize our own themes, change the colors, or remove the purple entirely. Users should be able to choose an interface that is comfortable for their eyes rather than being forced to use a design that doesn't work for them.
Please stop changing things that don't need fixing and start listening to the people who actually use Yahoo Mail. A visually appealing design is one thing, but a comfortable, accessible, and customizable inbox is far more important.
I hope someone at Yahoo actually reads this feedback and takes it seriously. Please consider giving users more control over how their inbox looks and feels. Kind regards

I am really having a very diffucult time with the limited colors/themes. Black or white literally all i can change to.
I used to have blue which was a great in between. The white is too bright and the black I have a hard time distinguishing what is an unread email
that is a major issue for me with this new experience, unless there is an option I am missing -

Give us the choice of colors to surround the inbox site. The faded pink I'm seeing is horrible and makes the whole inbox site to bright. I would like a blue or green color to surround the inbox.

The current interface of Yahoo Mail has the same issue it does last time.
Read and Unread Emails all look the same, with the only difference being the "Purple" dot in front of them.
If users are going to be forced into a design, please use the logic from previous themes that already had this problem solved a decade ago. -

Please add a theme option, as in the current light and dark themes, new messages are not clearly distinguishable from messages that have already been read. They look like already-read emails, making it difficult to identify new messages.

Hello!
I would like to request a return of themes in the background. Emails were so much easier to read. The black and white views do not work well, especially when using desktop mode. The see-through theme was visually perfect!
Thank you so much!

Ever since the re-make, mail loads slower with a significant delay before the page contents appear. Something is wrong. Please fix it. (Using iMac M4, Safari, Tahoe).
I miss the themes. Even basic colors provides more personality, which used to differentiate Yahoo from Google which has minimalist style. It's just a bit of .css or backend magic and really shouldn't add too much in the way of code or problems if handled elegantly.

Before this change, I could change the color of my Inbox. I preferred that. Now just light and dark mode. I really want to change just the Inbox color. Not a dark mode fan. Also not a fan of the page color now. Can we have the color options back please and thank you.

Light and dark is very boring. You need to add the themes back.

With the dark theme, it's difficult to distinguish between unread emails and those that have already been read.

It's obvious you are getting a lot of back lash from people regarding wanting the old interface back, just give them a theme option that's as close to the old look as possible, use the new platform, with options for the long time user, not doing that is just selfish.

The new Yahoo is soooo boring! I loved the themes, and I changed them frequently just for the fun of it. Now I can have light, dark or system. I don't like any of those choices!
