Colors
Please restore my old format of the Yahoo Mail. Please restore the colors, design and everything as it was. I can't distinguish between new mails and ads, there's no structure, everyuthing seems just a bunch of mixed trash in an Inbox. UGLY UGLY UGLY and worst of all, confusing and non funcional. Please restore my Yahoo Mail, especially the INbox with its format and design

the current Light mode is too bright for your eyes
Dark mode is too harsh
the older off-white background was more comfortable
you’d like more appearance choices or a softer light theme

i hate the new look.
it removes all the customization and personalization.
Add customization options -

the classic version seemed to use color more and it was easier at a glance to see where things were. The new version has everything the same color, so I find myself searching for things more often.
It would also be nice if we could make the notes section (calendar, starred, etc.) a bit narrower and expand the width of the center messages column a little. -

Would be nice to have the possibility to change the theme among the wide variety as in the old version :)

I really miss themes because it gave a lighter but not brighter option to the background. Please reconsider bringing back themes. The white background is way too light and bright. The dark background is way too dark.

I actually like a lot about the new Yahoo Mail, but customization is key. We all use email differently, so please give us more control over the layout instead of locking everyone into the same setup.
A few options I’d love to see:
- Choose where message action icons (Trash, Move, Spam, etc.) appear. I prefer them between the sender and subject, similar to Outlook.
- Keep the main action toolbar always visible at the top, not only when an email is checked.
- Allow the far-right Starred/Contacts panel to be collapsed or turned off.
- Bring back more themes and let us choose our own accent/interface colors. Pink/coral, for me - others can choose theirs.
The new design doesn’t need to work exactly the same for everyone. Give us the tools to make Yahoo Mail work the way each of us works. -

Hello, I would like the option to change the color theme of the new Yahoo Mail as we used to be able to do in the old version. I have visual disabilities and I find the purple to be far too harsh and painful for my eyes. I nice muted blue option like we had before would be far less bothersome. Thank you for your consideration.

There is no "theme" to choose from - just light or dark. Disappointing. Where is the mark for putting a star on the message? Why do you have to change things when people have gotten used to the same thing for 20 years?

The old version was so pretty with the optional background pictures. This sterile white (or dark) option is too minimalist and ugly. Give me the old version please! I can't hardly stand to check my email with it looking so stupid.

The "New" mailbox needs better color scheme options! The "light" option is way too light, i.e. the ultra-light grey combined with the white makes a VERY bright page that burns my retinas. The "dark" option is easier on my retinas, but unfortunately all of the navigational commands and menus are too dark/dull grey that they're lost in the black and almost impossible to read. There needs to be some middle ground. Either add color on screen, or an option for people to customize their layout. If this remains as only a super bright or a super dark color scheme, people might be inclined to switch to a different, more visually appealing, email platform. The visual aesthetics can either make or break their desire to use your platform.

The new forced update is ugly/cold and has no originality. I would like the old themes to come back or at least introduce new ones.
