Colors
Please restore my old format of the Yahoo Mail. Please restore the colors, design and everything as it was. I can't distinguish between new mails and ads, there's no structure, everyuthing seems just a bunch of mixed trash in an Inbox. UGLY UGLY UGLY and worst of all, confusing and non funcional. Please restore my Yahoo Mail, especially the INbox with its format and design

Bring back scenes and themes. The white is too bright and the dark is too dark.

Please allow themes like before and I can live with the new email. All Light, or all dark makes it hard to work

I hate that I can't choose a color. I am about to leave after having yahoo for over 40 years. I hate this change.

A person can't individualize their own yahoo account , would appericate an answer by someone other than AI.

Have colorful background theme options available for desktop. Light and Dark options are no good.

The new look is simply bad for me. But ok, have it your way, just give the users an option to choose. This way you will see how "good" your new look is. You are losing your user base. Also, why are you hiding this voter? It takes a lot of manipulating to get here and vote.
Why new look sucks for me:
Infinite scrolling instead of pagination. Pagination made it much easier for me to process, select, delete, and clean up large quantities of mail.
Very low information density. On a 27-inch desktop monitor I can see only around a dozen messages at a time. I used to comfortably work through 50–75.
Too much empty space and oversized UI elements. A significant amount of screen space is used for padding, icons, and interface chrome instead of email.
Folders require additional interaction instead of simply remaining visible.
An advertisement can occupy a row in the message list and visually resemble an email.
The interface feels optimized around touch-friendly spacing even when used on a large desktop display. -

Hi,
I wish to brigng to your attention that your new email appearence design is really not appealing. This is not very easy for senior citizens that have to rely on contrast. colors to view contents. Also, you should provide easy way of changing background, contrast setting and also font size that will help individuals to make their choices. I am really disgusted with your one theme fits for all settings.
Please make it more flexible -

Add more color themes besides light and dark. With this theme (the only theme) it's hard to tell what email is highlighted in the list.

The bright white or the black are both just awful. You should have themes or at least a color palette. I truly hate it the way it is now. So much that I may leave and go to gmail.

On the former yahoo I had a choice to choose a theme banner around my page. That I enjoyed. This new yahoo my screen is just black and it is boring....boring enough for me to search for another email supplier

Please allow the option to change the color of the background as before. The stark white screen for everything makes it extremely hard to see and focus on what your looking for.
I DO NOT LIKE THIS NEW APPEARANCE AT ALL!

Where did the option to change colors go? Now all that I can find is black (dark mode) or white (light mode). This absolutely hurts my eyes. :-(

Bring back stationery and themes. Much more customization. I do not like the new format.

The color pallet on dark mode is very similar, it's suppose to be two tones and it's black and charcoal black. The previous layout was easy to read and follow. Now it strains my eyes so I had to switch back to light mode. I also don't like this forced change and I will be considering closing my account of over 25 years.

This new Yahoo inbox is TERRIBLE!!! It really strains my eyes to have to look at an all white screen with no differentiation anywhere. My only options are light mode or dark, which is also ******* the eyes. I have multiple mailboxes too, so having each one be a different color helps me make sure I'm working from the correct one. Why would you remove a feature like colors and themes????? Makes NO sense. Please bring it back or let me change back to the original version. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find the UI design of the new version very messy (and outdated) and would like to have more options in color than just dark or light, a medium color would help.

I hate the new light/dark options. The light is too white and gives me a headache. The dark mode is easier on my eyes but you can't really see which emails are read and unread. I am not sure why less flexibility is the goal.
Thank you. -

The color of purple is a little harsh on my eyes. Can you make it so that email users can change the color of the email headers?
