Colors
Please restore my old format of the Yahoo Mail. Please restore the colors, design and everything as it was. I can't distinguish between new mails and ads, there's no structure, everyuthing seems just a bunch of mixed trash in an Inbox. UGLY UGLY UGLY and worst of all, confusing and non funcional. Please restore my Yahoo Mail, especially the INbox with its format and design

Ability to customize colour themes beyond just dark and light mode. With or without custom wallpapers as well. Makes inbox more personalized and helps to visually distinguish mailboxes from each other.

I want to keep my current Green Inbox theme, so I'd like to opt out of the new Yahoo Mail.

I switched to the New Yahoo Mail today. Thank you for improving the service. There's one thing that is bothering me: I didn't find any option to change the Appearance. In the older version, one could use different themes as it is natural to get bored with the same look after some time.
Please can you attend to this! Thx.

The current New Yahoo Mail is almost unreadable for me and many others - the fonts are squat and chunky and my eyes skip around, unlike the previous version.
Give us the option for themes other than light and dark, or preview pane layout.
Let us choose from a small range what our main view fonts are, none of this "everything is bold or stubby" unreadable stuff!
I'll have to switch to hotmail or something because I can't even clear my inbox now. -

I HATE the new look, can't read white on grey/black or black on white with my eye sight . I had a lovely blue range before.
Not as clear to navigate. I also hate the circles with initials - gaudy and don't fit who they apply to. It's up to me to find an appropriate one but don't need them anyway!!!
How dare you impose things like this without offering choices.
And by the way if people are dyslexic they definitely can't read white on black easily. Needs to be softer.
Where is the security page? I do not want you to have access to the things you mention

Please allow us to have some of the softer themes that the original Yahoo! Mail had. Pure white is too harsh and pure black is too dark.

Please give us the option like before to make themes, rather than having all light, or all dark.

Please bring back the background color personalization. This all white is not only boring but it is jarring.

Currently only white or black colors are offered as themes - they should be expanded - both of those colors are boring and bad on the eyes. Change themes as well as colors - perhaps offer AI generated themes based on preference

I had a beautiful purple screen in the previous set up. White tends to wash out with my vision issues. Black is too dark. Why did you "fix" something that wasn't broken. This is so bad that I may switch to Google.

My personal email still has the colors for Appearances. Would sure like colors for my business email too. What happened? Not nice at all.

The addition of Wallpaper options in new version of Mail would be very nice. The basic Light, Dark and Device choices are unappealing.
Thank you. -

1. the slider in the columns is almost the same color as the column and surroundings - hard to see; need to create more of a contrast. 2. My folders often have long multi-word names only distinguishable near the end. The folder column needs to be wider or be variable in width. 3. I haven't verified recently, but many of the filters designed to automatically route designated email senders to specific folders never seemed to work properly. Maybe I just wasn't setting them up properly.

In my opinion, the new layout feels too corporate and bland, so I think you should add background themes, the way the old yahoo had little backgrounds you could choose from. It was a nice little touch to make it feel more personalized. In addition, it would be really nice if you could choose from one of your own photos to make the background instead of there just being preset options, but backgrounds at all would be really nice

Whose stupid idea was it to eliminate colorful themes and replace them with that horrible bright white or unreadable dark? What possible good could that serve for anyone?
I've stuck with Yahoo! email for almost 30 years. This is going to make me move away for good. Colors make our world beautiful and our work more pleasant. That horrible grey-white makes me miserable every time I open mail. Why would you do this? "You're not allowed to have colored furniture or walls anymore. All of your furniture will be light grey and your walls will be a bluish color at the edges. Or they can all be black. That's it. Stop complaining. You still have a place to sit, right? There's no reason anyone would need any other colors."
Have some sense and think about people for a change.
