Go back to previous layout
everything looks the same and it is hard to distinguish between the emails. When I hit a check box the whole column moves and is extremely annoying.
This is the worst email experience that I have ever had.

Hello,
Why does everyone have to go through the email change when they did not ask for the change. When you do these changes, you should have options for people who wish for the change & for ones that do not. In the past Yahoo always gave that option. Please go back to that version of Yahoo, when you were given an option.
Thank you -

The new look is horrible! It is much more difficult to see what emails have been read and which ones have not been read!
Please give option to go back to original appearance!

The old format was functionally easier and FAR EASIER on the eyes. Not all progress is progress. Just because you can does not mean that you should.

I do not like the new email layout. It is hard to read. I want an option to return to the basic email layout, please. This is really frustrating not to have the option for it.

I don't like this new design. I would like the old one, and the fact that option is not available is upsetting.

Please change this back to the Classic. The icons next to the e-mails make it hard to know which are unread.

The new Mailbox Switcher is a significant downgrade for users who manage multiple email accounts through Yahoo Mail.
Previously, I could see all of my connected email addresses/mailboxes individually in the left sidebar at all times. This made it immediately obvious which accounts I had connected and allowed me to move between them quickly.
In the new Yahoo Mail, those accounts are hidden behind the Mailbox Switcher in the lower-left corner. This adds unnecessary clicks and removes important at-a-glance information from the interface.
Please restore an option to permanently display all connected mailboxes/email addresses in the left sidebar, similar to the previous Yahoo Mail layout. This could easily be an optional setting for users who manage multiple accounts.
The Mailbox Switcher may work well for someone with one or two accounts, but it is substantially less efficient for users who use Yahoo Mail as a central inbox for several email addresses.

The group that designed your new layout had their head stuck so far up their *** I'm surprised they are able to breath.

Please, give me Classic Mail. New Mail isn't ready yet. New Mail should have all the features of Classic Mail ... which it doesn't. Classic Mail had a sidebar with Settings, Contacts, Calendar, etc. When I clicked on of them, I got a sidebar where I can manage these ... not a box that's ALWAYS THERE wasting my screen.
Also, Classic Mail didn't waste so much space on the email & folder rows, they were more compact.
Plus, I should have the option to see folder icons, folder names or both!!!
The font is terrible .. it's had to contrast between the email rows of what's read (bold) and not read (normal). Not everyone is 20-years old!!!!! Why not give us a Settings choice of the classic font or new font?!?!?!
Speaking of contrast ... the Archive, Move, Delete, Spam, etc. icons need color and list the icon name like Classic did. Again, give us the option to select what we want in Settings.
These are very easy code changes. A competent programmer/developer can make all the changes listed above in a single day.

The New Yahoo Mail wastes too much space because the spacing seems to be designed for preschool kids, all that extra space yet no separator for dates, dark mode destroys the senders' formatting of their email, etc. Did anyone actually test the layout before publishing the change?

Allow a way to restore Classic Email. Many elderly users worked for months or years to get comfortable with the Classic Email view, and are very frustrated with the new version.
