This version is awful, hurts my eyes, unable to see and read, and now having difficult reading any of my mail, all I can do now is replace you with another email account. Either you bring me back to classic or I'm leaving and not returning.

Today when I logged in (I have a "basic mail" account) I see the "new" UI. I would like the option to go to the "basic mail" view, because I very much dislike the new UI. It squeezes the emails to half the screen becauase the empty "starred" and "contacts" tab has to be there. Please let me have a way to go back to the basic mail view!

I hate the new version. If there is not a way to go back to the previous version, I will change my email. Please help.

Allow User To Return To Original Version

Yahoo basic was simple, quick, easier for me. I can't use this upgrade, please allow me to use yahoo basic again.

The new yahoo mail is terrible to use. I would like to be able to use basic mail or I will look to find another email account, I would pay £5 a month to be able to keep using basic email version. The new one is not good.

I work in an industry of constant change, so I am not trying to be old about this, but I do not like the new email format AT ALL. It is a mess! There is just too much happening. I like a clean format and this is not that. And I want my email account for email, not streaks, I do not need to play games with my email. Maybe you are trying to appeal to a younger crowd to stay relevant, but for those of us, and I think there are plenty, do not need that from our email. Instead of making everyone change to the new format, why not give us the option?

Here is a really whacky and crazy idea! Give us the OPTION on what WE (the customer) want! I have tried the "new" version in the past and it was awful. It was horrible when trying to scroll through the inbox. It kept jerking up and down, etc. I stuck with it for a while thinking it would be improved and that I would also get better with learning it from a user stand point. Finally, I gave up and switched back to the old version. Now today the system has forced me to the new version with no way to go back?! WHY???? Why on earth would a company force its consumers into something they never asked for and do not want??

Bottom line...give us back the old version or I would rather spend my time switching over all of my emails to a competitors system than dealing with learning this horrible new version.

Bring basic email back! You try and read an email and the dang bar with back, forward, etc....take over 1/3 of the screen and you can't swith it! Absolutely horrible. I am going to have swith more accounts that have this email to my other provider. Pathetic Yahoo. I've had this for 30+ years. Of course no one will read this who can or will do anything.

Yhaoo knows how to degrade an already good product We want our Basic Yahoo Mail back. New Yahoo mail is a flop product. I am thinking of leaving Yahoomail now

The current n version wastes way too much space. It takes away or makes unwelcomely difficult features that I have come to rely on. For example, searching by subject directly from my email list.

The animation effect are distracting for me.

The dividers between the folders I use regularly is waste of space, for me: inbox, spam, drafts

The fixed third column is am unhelpful waste of space, for me

I did not ask or put my mail to the new style of Yahoo mail. This is the second time I've had to contact Yahoo this way to let you guys know I want the old classic back after taking the ability to switch back and forcefully changing it to the new one again! Please give me back the ability to choose again,

it should be simple.
in black and black and white.
no icons.

this new version seems like it was designed for a toddler, with bright purple colors, and symbols instead of words.

and the rectangular empty space/column on the right which prevents me from seeing the whole headline of the email. delete it.

i'm a businessman.
i don't need flashy gimmicks and bells and whistles.

please stop 'improving' the email system!

this new mail is absolutely HORRIBLE a JUMBLED MESS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE ! Whoever designed this should be fired !

Please give us back the option to switch to the old version, the new version is terrible to use, the left frame does not move, I cannot read the full folder. It is a pain to use it.

Your 'new' thing is ALWAYS a problem for those of us with vision difficulties! If your text is zoomed more than 90 percent or your font size is more than 10pts, which is unreadable, then it stretches to the right horrifically. Mostly the ad box but the stuff at the top can be important sometimes. I want and need my basic mail back so i an actually use your service.

I've noted this since 2005! You still haven't fixed it! It's been two decades of you hampering us using your service. I thought for sure it was planning to take the platform out but it's the longest dying streak ever if you are. I've noted for two decades that you've made it so unusable in the 'new' versions that it's not worth the free price. And it's still not. This update is nothing new and even worse than it was with the last update.

So, PLEASE, let me switch back to basic mail so i can actually access my email in a way that works! With a font and zoom level that actually works. LEAVE US ALONE! WE DON'T WANT THAT IF WE'RE ON BASIC MAIL. WE DON'T WANT THOSE 'FEATURES' THAT HAVE NO USE TO ALMOST ANYONE WHO'S COMPUTER LITERATE. JUST LEAVE IT ALONE!
