Speed it up
The new email is unacceptably slow. Especially deleting emails. There are so many errors. When in an email, and selecting to delete it, it takes about 1 minute to delete the email and return me to the inbox. It's been this way since the new Email launched a month ago or so. Unbearable. It's also super slow to exit an email. If I've double clicked into an email to open it, and want to go back to my inbox, that takes at least 30 seconds. Adding fancy features, and Yahoo made the most basic functionality almost unusable.

The performance of the updated version is very slow and disappointing. The skies Yahoo main performance is ea laptop issue but the app issue. Please work on streamlining the amount of committee resources needed to run the so fast.

It's SO SLOW!!! There is a delay with every click in Firefox (updated). I wouldn't even mind the ads if the interactions didn't lag. It takes a full second after I select the checkbox next to a message for the checkbox to appear selected. Then it takes a couple of seconds after I click delete for one message to be deleted. Make it faster. Clicks should be instant.

The old basic Yahoo mail was faster. Now I have a sluggish, time-consuming Yahoo mail that shows too few entries on one page and it takes 4 times as long to go through hundreds of newsletters as it did before.

The new interface is so slow and clunky that it is a burden to work with. I have to deal with hundreds of emails a day, and now it is painfully slow. It's not the layout that's the problem. It is not a newer better version, and yes, it is frustrating. The layout is fine. Fix the speed. It's to the point where it's distracting and makes it much more difficult to do my work.

The new yahoo mail is now so slow and you took the ability to go to the last page to delete mail. Guess I'm just going to have to start using Gmail and do away with yahoo.

Deleting an email takes 3 seconds.
Closing a "tab" (which stupidly doesn't even remotely LOOK like a "tab") takes 3 seconds. What in the WORLD is making this so unresponsive and ridiculously SLOW??? It's crazy in this day and age to have an app that is just DOG SLOW.
Switching folders? Yup - 3-4 seconds.
There's inconsistency to it, also. Sometimes, it's only a half a second, which is not "snappy" and fast but is tolerable. But other times?? SUPER annoying because it appears that it was a "mis-click" - a left mouse click (or tap on my touchpad) that didn't work. So I click again. Then WTF it STILL didn't work?? So I click AGAIN. And then finally it works - and I'm left wondering if I'm having a hardware failure (dying, damaged touchpad) or if it's your new buggy app. Guess which one it is...
PS - Displaying the "Y!" logo with Yahoo next to it in a gray box does not look like a button and therefore I'm always prompted "Sign in required to continue" - because you can't/won't follow normal protocols for design and make a button LOOK LIKE A BUTTON. At the very LEAST instead of the text "Yahoo" in a gray box, the text should say "Sign in to continue" so it at least MEANS something.

The new Yahoo is so slow that it takes 5 seconds after each click of the mouse or button before it responds. Please improve on this.

Maybe it works better for business use, but not for personal use.
Posted links do not mail, or do not translate, and certainly don't preview ('Here's what you're
sending' - photo, video, etc). Links don't arrive, and photos don't arrive. Never had that issue
before. Opting out of 'summaries' or 'previews' altogether would be useful - I can delete items
based on the subject line. And moving things to folders doesn't 'always' remove them from the
general mailbox. If AI is going to be involved, shunt common senders' email to a general account location
- that would be useful, if AI is monitoring anyway. I'm not thrilled with this, but I'll give it the requested
chance. -

Yahoo mail has always been slow. Yahoo mail always generates a "page unresponsive" every day. Now with this new version? It's even worse. If I wasn't 66 years old, I would ditch yahoo mail and go strictly with Gmail. Navigation is horrible, so slow. You think you're improving things? LOL! No, you just make it worse.

Painfully long to access anything. When I choose Inbox or a message, it takes like 10 seconds or more. I just went from the settings screen and clicked Inbox. I was sure it would go fast when I was observing, but no. 13 seconds to fully show my Inbox!

Mail shows 1 Unread message in the "Folder" navigation pane on the left, but in the "Message List" window, I cannot find an unread message. I used the "Filter" to show "Unread" only, and the message showed up, but then when I turn the filter off, I can no longer see/find the new mail. I tried repeatedly to find the message without having to use the "Unread" filter, but nope - couldn't be done.
My next step was to hit "Refresh" on my (fully updated) Chrome browser. Lo and behold - the previously hidden unread message appeared right where it should have been in the "Message List" window.
Y'all got problems with this new, super-slow, clunky, inconsistent interface. (I'll give you this tho - it's better than that last horrific iteration, which thankfully you let me avoid using.)

its currently taking 1-2 MINUTES to load and display one of my inboxes
this is a BROWSER version - let it use the SPACE properly and be organised PROPERLY - we don't all use phones for email.
Put some actual settings under settings

Any time an email is fully opened and then you navigate back to the inbox, it takes about 10 seconds to reload and fill the page with the messages in the inbox. It's incredibly slow and frustrating to use!
This new update is no better than when you tried it before - it's horrible.
Let us have the older system back - you updated but improved nothing! -

When I log into my email, I have to refresh the screen each new view to see the content. When I click on an email, I need to refresh the screen again. Too many pop-ups suggesting notifications, settings, etc. Just stop it! Also the starred pane on the right has never displayed properly.

Its very slow! When new emails come in they don't appear unless I refresh the inbox or open something. Deleting things is slower too! Before New Yahoo I took great joy in going to my spam, and deleting them en mass! Now it has a painfully slow bar at the top telling me my mail is being deleted. Not great!
