Go back to previous layout
everything looks the same and it is hard to distinguish between the emails. When I hit a check box the whole column moves and is extremely annoying.
This is the worst email experience that I have ever had.

Give us an option to change back from the new format to the previous format. It is difficult to read. I don't need Yahoo deciding which of my emails are primary. It's a pain that the inbox keeps defaulting to "primary" from "all". The spam folder no longer has the option to move an email to the inbox. It is putting emails in my spam folder that should go to my inbox. Nothing about this is user-friendly. I hate it. Let us opt out of this.

The new UI is horrible. Unable to access my folders directly. THe color, font layout look ugly. This is not a upgrade but a significnat DOWNGRADE. I used to work at Yahoo, so I kept my yahoo emails active. But given the new UI, I'm seriously consider leaving Yahoo Mail for good. BRING BACK THE CLASSIC

THIS IS UNUSABLE. NO ONE WHO STILL HAS YAHOO WANTS THIS CHANGE. YAHOO IS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THEIR EMAILS FOR A LONG TIME OTHERWISE THEY'D BE ON GMAIL. DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE. FIX THIS. I GIVE YOU ONE WEEK TO FIX OR THEN I WILL FINALL SWITCH EVERYTHING TO GMAIL WHICH I SHOULD HAVE DONE YEARS AGO. YOU CANNOT COMPETE AT THAT LEVEL. LEAVE IT IN OLD FORMAT

I use a fairly modern laptop computer with 2 gigabytes of RAM, a 1.86ghz Celeron M processor and 100GB of hard disk space. Unfortunately despite my high-end setup I am unable to effectively use the new Yahoo Mail website due to its extremely poor performance, often taking minutes at a time to load a page, and this is in the latest version of Chrome or Firefox, with a fairly speedy 20mbps wireless network connection which is more than enough for (e.g.) 1920x1080 video streaming, viewing live streams at 1280x720 or even intensive multiplayer videogaming. I have also disabled all extensions, made sure the browser was up to date, made sure the operating system was up to date, however the latter factor seemed to negatively affect performance, and if it means anything I did update my drivers. Obviously I used Windows LTSC as it is still supported in the present day while supporting the IA-32 processor architecture my computer uses. Now, the website. It takes 3 minutes to load up a page. Firefox regularly asks me to cancel scripts that are running, which I choose not to as obviously it would break the entire page and I would have to reload. Your audience likely may not even have hardware on par performance with mine, considering the general demographic, and this situation could get even worse. Of course, practically no other website seems to take so long to load on my computer, in fact usually loading in under one second. I am not asking for continued access to the older interface, but rather a more efficiently designed version of the new interface, or perhaps an entirely new "lite interface" could be produced to suit a typical user's environment.

My mail account is so screwed up! It says I have no internet connection when I do! It takes forever to get into my mail account as well! I can't stand what your company has done to my mail site! I'm so upset!

I have looked up several instructions to go back to Basic Mail. I do not have that function. The layout with the new update does not open the emails prior, and it is difficult to access that information. It is truly counterintuitive. Is the option to return to basic mail no longer available? If not, please consider reinstating it.

If you actually valued my opinion, you would have asked for it BEFORE you developed a sub-standard product.
Additionally, there was a button in the system that indicated it was to 'switch back to yahoo classic'. I used it, and it did not work- so this is both disgusting and offensive.
If I wanted to use gmail, I would have set up a gmail account. I did not want that, nor do I want yahoo to be a cheap rip-off of the gmail system.
You have broken my hear.

Please allow those who want to keep the old format, the option to do so. The old format had a much better and more visually appealing way to look at all emails and kept them seperated by date and easier to navigate in general
