I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the recent Yahoo Mail interface update. It has completely ruined a once clean and functional layout, transforming it into an incredibly poor and frustrating user experience. Please forward these specific issues directly to your product and design teams:
1. The Hover Actions Bar Blocks Core Functions: The automatic black popup bar ("Move, star, delete...") completely covers the attachment (paperclip) icon when hovering over an email in the inbox. I cannot access my files because this bar aggressively blocks them. This menu belongs in a right-click context menu, not on a forced hover action.
2. Abysmal Read vs. Unread Email Visibility: The new color (bold) scheme makes it nearly impossible to visually distinguish between read and unread messages at a glance. The fonts are oversized, cluttering the inbox, and if I try to use the "Right pane" preview, the inbox layout gets squished into an unreadable column.
3. Useless and Unclosable Right-Side Panel: There is a permanent sidebar on the right side containing the Calendar, Contacts, and a useless notification stating "Notepad has been discontinued". This is a massive waste of screen space. It should be hidden under a collapsible menu, not permanently forced onto our workspace, further narrowing our view.
4. Removal of Key Features: Removing the "Views" section (to see all attachments at once) and removing proper "Tabs" has completely killed productivity and multitasking.
5. Aggressive and Inappropriate Advertising: While I personally use ad-blockers to keep my screen functional, the general user feedback regarding your new ads is shameful. Forcing aggressive and highly inappropriate ads (such as lingerie/bra advertisements) onto people's personal and professional mailboxes is completely unacceptable and embarrassing when family members or colleagues walk into the room.
Please stop trying to force these poorly tested layouts on long-time users. Give us the option to completely turn off the automatic hover bar, change our font sizes, hide the useless right-side panel, and bring back a clean, practical layout like it was before. Stop trying to be smart, we all know you are only listening to AI and that is just shameful.

Go back to the way it use to be. If it works do not fix it.

Put a a readily accessible button on the mail screen so I can adjust the colors. SOLID colors don't work. MASSIVE EYESTRAIN can be tempered by using paler colors to highlight folders, mail, other.

It's very hard to distinguish read from unread mail, and from your ads, in either the dark or light theme. Also, the spacing options have been removed. For someone with vision issues, this is extremely difficult to use - the old UI was much better. Please either improve this, or preferably return the old UI as an option for the vision impaired.

I want to be able to see all the photos from all my emails and pic a photo without having to go through each individual email to find a specific picture. You guys screwed it up. It was fine before. I'm going to start moving away from Yahoo mail.

The NEW Yahoo Mail is cumbersome, hard to use, poorly laid out, and slow. YAHOO has managed to destroy what was the beste-mail available. We will be moving to a different provider and not using ANY YAHOO services shortly. You have destroed an excellent service.

Switch back to the old - and more user friendly - interface - Yahoo mail just got downgraded! Why modify something that was so user friendly in favor of something that looks worse and is less user friendly and navigable? Did you ask any users before coming up with this design? Wow - time to give Gmail my monthly fee money.

The new yahoo is horrible. There is too much going on. This is not a clean and updated mail. This is too busy.

Old web interface was so much better.
Drag and drop is so touch it is useless.
If this is your way of getting people to go to the "paid version" you are a failure.
More likely to move to something else. I know I am thinking about it.

Good afternoon, I would like some help resolving an issue with the new Yahoo Mail interface.
My name is Anton Nesterenko, and I have been a Yahoo Mail user for a long time—for several years, in fact...I was perfectly happy with the old Yahoo Mail interface; I had no complaints about how it worked.
Unfortunately, my email account was switched to the new Yahoo Mail without my consent.
The new Yahoo Mail doesn't work for me; I use a computer running Windows 7, and the new interface runs slowly.
Based on the above, I would like to request that the Yahoo Mail administration switch my email account to the old Yahoo Mail interface. Thank you in advance.

ALLOW TO RETURN TO YAHOO EMAIL OLD VERSION / Classic view.

Yahoo Mail's new interface NEW VERSION is a major downgrade—we need an option to switch back to Classic view.

When I create a document and save it and then try to PREVIEW THE DOCUMENT IT NEVER COMES UP.
I ALWAYS HAVE TO DOWNLOAD IT THEN LOOK AT IT. IN MY YAHOO MAIL IT WORKED GREAT.
IS THERE ANY WAY YOU CAN PUT ME BACK TO MY OLD EMAIL? PLEASE! THIS NEW STUFF REALLY REALLY SUCKS.

for the 3rd time in two weeks (since the "UPDATE") I have clicked on something in my mail that causes an Alert saying my computer is being taken over and that I need to call immediately. I know it's a spam so I have to shut my entire computer down and lose everything I'm working on. This is 3 times in two weeks, this new version is terrible and way worse than the old system - PLEASE RETURN THE OLD VERSION OF BASIC MAIL

The old version had a few link on top, however I can't find them with the new version
