   What's the point of having a "US" news category if it includes articles from/about other countries that are unrelated to US events?

   If you're going to have a "US" section in Yahoo News, please eliminate the non-US stories that are currently seen in that category. Your News Home features stories from around the world, and it is consternating that those stories are still found in the section supposedly reserved for news relating to the United States.
