Search - Additional search or filter options
Suggestions for new search or filter options in the player pool.

Enable search for multi-position players. Versatility is important. If, for example, I want a First Baseman who can also play the Outfield, I want to be able to search for only 1B-OF. Allowing this option by letting a manager enter 2 (or even 3 or more) positions to search for in a single player would whittle down the results dramatically and make the selection process much more relevant and efficient.

Also need the ability to filter by:
- No more (or less) than X innings
- No more (or less) than X ABsFor the former it's the only legitimate way to find relief pitchers and new starting pitchers; for the latter it's the only way to find new players.
That type of filtering would be especially helpful in points-based leagues.

What's the point of this topic or feedback at all... If Yahoo. continues to ignore the overwhelming response to the Message. Board Removal across all fantasy sports?
I love how Yahoo ranks this topic. as the. 9th most popular or hot topic or whatever despite it only being an active thread between 2015 and just a singular, lonely post from from early April of 2022.
Yahoo, you owe your users better.
Just an FYI for any other Yahoo Fantasy Sports users.. Below is the primary link (I pasted, if it hasn't been already) provided directly by Yahoo (more than a month ago) which, as of today, March 5th, Yahoo has listed as only the 3rd most popular feedback topic with well over a thousand comments... All, virtually without exception: unfavorable responses that dwarf every other topic by far and possibly combined! Message Board Removal link (just in case any fellow uses finds themselves stumbling upon the newest current thread started by a less aware user that likely also are just. recently realizing this before creating a separate post... So it's probably best to pass along the primary thread to your league mates and re-post or voice one's feedback and sentiments on the below thread going forward.
https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/206146-fantasy-baseball/suggestions/46238233--chat-message-boards-message-board-removal-feedbaThis topic and any other is not even remotely as important as Yahoo's message board removal decision (which there's still time to fix imo)
Who cares about search filters when many leagues across all Yahoo Fantasy platforms actually might not even begin at all with the recent outcry and outrage over what is obviously a far more important topic to all fantasy users of Yahoo (who are already making a mass exit from. Yahoo for other sites and platforms)
I'll post a message I wrote on another redundant and/or outdated topic thread here for people unaware of this, and might not realize that their fantasy leagues may be in serious jeopardy of even happening in 2023.
Just an FYI for any other Yahoo Fantasy Sports users.. Below I'm including the primary link (I pasted elsewhere also as it's more and more appearing that Yahoo
and its topic admins are avoiding the elephant in the topics of discussion and user repliesSo just in case, to make my informed observation known and understood....
I'm re-posting my explanation for the benefit of all if it's stumbled upon here.
Hopefully it helps other fantasy users to prioritize their concerns and raises awareness for all, if this knowledge hasn't been already considered).
The following I have info to others regarding public feedback threads.

We swap players after each weeks matchup. This week the commisioner was unable to find Avisail Garcia in the drop down box of players to add. I believe this is because of the accent mark in his name. Could you look at this? I know that last year you had to scroll through the entire list of players for the commisioner to add a player, and the players with accent marks were always listed separately at the end.

As the Season goes along 60day and 90day stat totals averages become a valuable tool that no one seems to supply. Season totals dont always work because many players start off terrible. 30 days is too short a time frame to judge a guy for anything more than a hot spell. See Bryce Harper as an example.
With the stats you now offer, they lowball many players who arent on a current hot streak that may have started off cold in April.
These numbers seem to be nowhere available on the Internet.
There are a ton of stats you could get rid of that no one seems to use to include the 60day and 90day numbers -

When sorting through the waivers it would be nice to have the option to sort by stats from the previous day to see which players had a big game or which relief pitcher might have picked up a save. You can sort by the current day, previous 7 days, 14 days, 30 days but I think "Yesterday" would be very valuable as well.

Rob P... I don't think they really 'gather feedback' on things they don't want to do.

This is especially annoying when entering in offline draft results since the fastest way to do it is to search the first few letters of a name, arrow down in the dropdown, then press Enter to automatically add that player to the roster. The accent marks are causing those players to not show up in the dropdown, so I have to flip-flop between searching by last names on other nationalities and first names on Latin players to be able to find them. Really slows down the process.

I like that you search for custom leagues using filters by scoring type, draft date etc.
Have you considered adding a filter so managers can search by roster change format: daily/weekly? I'm looking only for leagues with a WEEKLY roster change format, but it is very tedious to click on each league to view the rules to see what the roster change rule is. It'd be easier to just be able to filter for all weekly roster leagues.
Perhaps there are even one or two other filters that would also be useful for league searching? Thanks ! -

This is still an issue on the website and it is annoying. The same problem does not occur on the app so this should be an easy fix.

I know it sounds trivial, but a Spanish player in my league admires Jose Altuve, and he’s devalued him because he feels insulted the accent mark is not there. He’s made his case by pointing out that Jose Berrios, Jose Abreu and others all have the accent mark on their ‘e’s, but for some reason Jose Altuve does not. Please make this one minor change if possible.

Thanks Matt. I was going to post the same idea but I figured I'd check first. Yahoo, they would be very useful filters vs searching through the entire available player listing

I play in a league where we have several DL and NA spots so it would help to have these in the player filters so it is easier to backfill rosters. Thanks.

Can you add an Injured List option in the Status drop down on the Player List tab? This would make it easier to identify players to stash in the IL spots.

We can see stats for past week, past 2 weeks, past month and current day, but I often want to see a player's stats from the previous day.

You can type these characters but it sucks ***

You current have a "Today (live)" but being that many games are played at 10pm EST, to be able to sort by "Yesterday" would make much more sense for everyone that makes add/drops the next morning.
