The icons makes the page big and bloated. I now see 5 fewer emails on the screen with those stupid images. Do you think that is more or less efficient?
Give us the option to turn them off. -

If you are going to create these completely useless AI summaries how about if you make them hard to find like you did with the spam/trash folders?
These AI summaries are a terrible idea. I want to read the email as the sender intended. I'm certainly not going to trust a computer generated summary when the real thing is right there. But I have to waste time (and get angry) every time I have to scroll past the unwanted AI summary.Dug C supported this idea ·

Bring back the ability to reduce sources we don't like. My home page is nothing but huffpost, fox, salon, and now snopes!?!? All useless. I never click on any of them and so my yahoo page is pretty worthless. How many people need to complain about this before you do something?

I check my spam folder daily because real emails get filtered there sometimes (especially job search emails). Hiding it will make me forget to check it. And since yahoo clears out that folder after a week you are in essence deleting emails that are actually important and that I never saw.
It's like the designers made changes for the sake of making changes. Were there no focus groups before releasing this disaster to the general public?
