Ideas: You will probably be familiar with these anyway
#1. Ads loading with news tabs, ie. (waiting for... loading... transferring... etc.) skip after 10 seconds if they don't load quickly enough so news item can be loaded.
#2. Allow skip ads after 10 seconds before a clip.
#3. Ad before every clip… very annoying.

I'm sure you get the gist.

Employ some proper news reporters, not people that say "uh, no one knows what it is" and then the story reveals that its a whale. Clearly people DO know what it is, so why have a headline saying they don't??
Also remove the 'can you guess...' or the 'you'll never guess what...' headlines.

Hi, I've been using Yahoo for about 15 years now. Im giving it until Sunday and then leaving. The news content isn't news anymore. You got some blogger reporter with a beard who is the worst ever. You have men hating women reporting all the time on non news stories. No on proof reads your stories. You are dumbing down news. I know this is the point but your view of the future sucks.

Trying to read you news report on the Brussels explosions with 21 people killed only to be constantly interrupted by your promotion of Andra Day's music video. Reading about this serious attack with Andra singing in the background is incredibly insensitive of Yahoo and I am appauled it was allowed to be presented in this way.

1. There is no box - under the story - to post my comments.
2. In its place is the "spinning wheel".
3. At the bottom of the page is the "Post a comment" thingee.
4. When it is clicked, the page just boots up back to the top.
5. I have had this with both Crome and Firefox (latest versions of each) using Windows 7 Ultimate Service pack 1 - but it doesn't happen all the time; just occasionally.

Please stop forcing people to look at disgusting photos of what people have found in their food. If I wanted to know about it, I would have chosen to read the article. Instead, a disgusting photo of a fried chicken lung was enlarged and described on my screen. Very disturbing.
