AT&T/yahoo needs to examine their policy for handling reported comments.
I think that Yahoo selectively enforces their community guidelines, particularly the one about bullying and and harassment. The easiest way to lose credibility is to not follow the guidelines that everyone is supposed to follow, especially when no action is taken on reported comments. Also, when reporting someone, the form says "Thank You" and promises to let the reporter know the decision. I have NEVER had AT&T/yahoo get back to me with the results of the decision. I can't help but wonder if the person being reported gets special treatment because he is actually a yahoo employee. Even if it…

I beg you to stop posting slanted, biased stories. It's election interference and nothing less. At least make it possible to block them.
Unbiased election reporting and the ability to block sites that report erroneous stories on purpose repeatedly.

News tip: Are These Miraculous Light Patterns the Work of Extraterrestrials?
The page linked below (“Miraculous Light Patterns: Who is Paying Attention?") is a public response to the 2006 Live Science article, "Strange Circles of Light Explained", by an Italian skeptic who claimed to solve a mysterious form of light patterns observed in cities worldwide. This is a rebuttal to his irresponsible statements that skip over tenets of the “scientific method”. The light patterns are, in fact, the work of extraterrestrial beings who have mastery over light. The implications of what lies behind this phenomenon are very significant.

Please take SALON off of my front-page news feed.
My idea is that Salon is completely untrustworthy, filled with biased hatred, and it has no place on my News feed. Yahoo should know better.

Suggested Content - modeling animal intelligence
We raise working border collies here in the USA, trying to improve the breed standard for dogs who work sheep and cattle using UK/Ireland stock. The USA border collie has been over-bred for conformation; we are trying to strengthen the traditional working stock of what is generally regarded as the world's most intelligent dog. We are working with researchers studying the intelligence of working collies and how genetics shapes / improves intelligence and working ability.

Establish an appeals process for rejected comments.
There needs to be an appeals process for rejected comments. I would propose a committee populated by volunteer Yahoo account holders who get picked at random out of the pool. Send an email out to the people selected, and as long as five or more respond, the committee makes the decision whether to find for the plaintiff or Yahoo censors.

Are you still reporting CURRENT news? Nothing changes after 6 hours. Maybe MSN for me.
I asked the same question about a year ago. Things improved after a short while but of late you have nothing new to say. You move the same stories around on the page. In addition, whoever edits your news page doesn't remove articles that are old and incorrect, even when there is an update reported on the same page at the same time. If you are going to do news then DO IT. If you can't do it then don't make your inability to report the news so obvious. Just get out of the news business completely. I've read Yahoo…
