   Getting a notification that someone replied to my comments but cannot see it regardless of the article.

5. The new news comment section is much worse than the old one.

   I've received 5+ email notification spread out over several hours that the same comment has been removed. I use to defend Yahoo when other commenters complained but no more. I received another email notification while I was typing this. Your comment system is terrible.

   Stop trying to costomize the news to the reader. Variety is good. A computer, no matter how it is programmed, will never know what the reader wants. I want a variety of news but that is not what I get after reading an article, the computer tries to direct my news choices to the point I don’t want to view yahoo news.

    Can't find the notifications in the comment section anymore, have been trying to reach out to your company to ask questions but apparently people who don't pay you monthly aren't entitled to any customer service, clearly you don't give a **** about your free users which is your prerogative but I'm going to be really bummed out when I have to move to a different service, I'm very used to yours.. please tell me where I can find the **** notifications?! I see the bell at the very top that tells me when new stories have dropped but doesn't include anything about interactions with my comments. Seriously, getting a hold of you is a nightmare.. I've emailed a dozen emails and nothing gets through, you must be the very definition of two big to fail with a business model like this. 14. Where is the mute button?

    When you redesigned the comments section, you forgot a few things:

    1) the option to mute users! that way we can safely skip having to see troll remarks. Otherwise we have to report them. Do you need that much more work?

    2) the option to downvote dumb, harmful, or outright rude comments. I don't think many of them need a smiling emoji and with how hateful the comments usually are, they don't rate a positive response, which us all you're giving us. Which leaves no option but reporting them

    So let's get that fixed. Soon if you can please.

20. Comments not siding with Israel are being flagged as Antisemtic

    Yahoo will post a high charged article example the War in Gaza and if you comment on it citing that its genocide or side in anyway with the Palestinians you will get a Bann. MY suggestion turn the comments off. Its horrible to see people writing in bias making people think that everyone believes a certain way.
