If you're going to post one sided articles, at least let people comment on them. For example; The article about the black guy in the Army being harassed, sorry, he is just weak. Happened to guys I served with in regular units and all of them were white. If you're going to take away comments on articles, then everyone should comment about articles on here.

I'm glad I'm not the only one missing the comments section, but you should be honest about your reason for "suspending" it.
Either start the Comments section again, or be honest to your readers about why you suspended it. The election is OVER. The winner is clear. If you want to end the rancor, at least SAY that this is your reason for ending Comments.

Its time for Yahoo to allow us to comment on articles again. If you don't like alternative opinions, don't post articles that are partisan.
Let us comment on articles again. If people need a "safe" place because they are afraid of being offended, let them go hide in the corner of a library, because they aren't ready to be adults.

Removing the ability to comment cripples Yahoo News.
Comments can provide additional context, details, updates, and different perspectives on the news. Banning comments curtails a vital and necessary check on the reporting of news, and it's long past time to bring comments back. If you don't like the content of certain comments, then give us the ability to hide them through community action.

Bring back the comment section
This is the latest news report "White supremacy is the root of all race-related violence in the US" they talk about Asians are being attacked by africans Americans and Latino cultures and have the nerve to blame it on White Americans due to White supremacy. Now we are to blame for the problems caused by other cultures. Whats next. Thank yo yahoo for not allowing us to respond to stupid post like this one. Who is racist now?????

The comment section needs to be brought back.
Honestly, it is not at all right that news media can use their forum to perpetuate lies and distortions based upon their biased reports. Yahoo is clearly a very liberal news outlet - and I am not criticizing you for that. Fox is the very conservative format. However, I have seen some disgusting distortions in your news articles and they need to be corrected. The comment section allows true news to be brought forth if people chose to seek truth out. Sure, some people abuse it with their ridiculousness, and that is done by the full political spectrum. Regardless, please…

If you do not allow comments, please do not allow disinformation as news
Clearly, the old unmoderated comment section was a target for trolls and automated response patterns on many topics. However, now you have the opposite problem. Disinformation disguised as news. The National Review article skewering the 60 minutes piece on Desantis is a case in point. If you don't have comments, at least provide fact checking on the articles you post.

First, read what your users want! Open comments on all articles
Why do liberal sites ban comments, because they don't like to be proven wrong. Yahoo is a trash site without comments. Their news is distorted and skewed to their agenda with misleading headlines and facts left out. These morons only serve their agenda and do not believe others have a right, and can't stand it when commentors are able to factually disprove their articles.

Commenting
I used to visit Yahoo News a dozen times a day, for news and opinions. Now I only visit once or twice a month just to see if commenting is back. Time to remove Yahoo News from my favorites.
