Drafts - Extended draft pick times and slow drafts

This would allow commissioners to extend the time that is allotted to each team for each pick during the draft longer than the current maximum. Currently, the maximum draft pick time is 2 minutes.

    I have heard of slow drafts on other platforms, it makes sense since people have different schedules so it would make scheduling/drafting much easier for everyone

    Yahoo is my preferred fantasy football app. However for some of my leagues getting everyone available at the same time for a draft, whether in person or online, just isn't an issue. An online slow draft with no pick time limit would be super useful in that case. I've had to move one of my leagues to the Sleeper app that has that option, but I'd rather use yahoo.

    We Draft in person, and keep a clock ourselves. We would like to draft players on our Board and have players enter their pick on the website themselves. We are flexible with the start of the clock at times due to ‘beer breaks’ ‘shots’ ‘bathroom’.. etc. If you can allow for ‘no time’ between picks, this would allow Live drafts to be more flexible. Thanks.

    Every other platform for fantasy sports offers a draft timer anywhere from 15 seconds to 24 HOURS. Yahoo only offers up to 2 minutes. A long draft timer is accommodating for those trying to play fantasy sports that don't have the exact same schedule as everyone else (a large majority). It seems like an easy change to make and I see no reason that it hasn't already been implemented.

    Yahoo should allow slow online drafts especially for Guillotine Leagues. Allow 1 hour, 2 hour, and 6 hour options between picks. This is much more convenient when trying to have 18 teams draft. a 2 minute timer is way too short

    You should add a slow draft option for guillotine leagues.. Like 1 hour, 2 hour and 6 hour option. It's very difficult to coordinate with 18 people a time that works for everyone. The original guillotine site provides those options and you guys should as well! That's the only reason we're not going to switch to your platform this year. I love your platform for the traditional league I run on this site..

    18 teams is just too many to coordinate a day and time for a fast draft.

    Please, please get a slow draft option!

    We love slow drafts but have to use other platforms or manually control the draft and upload offline.
    It's a major inconvenience and would be very simple to just have the draft rooms be customizable for more than 2 minutes per pick. have it be flexible to whatever length people want up to 24 hours per pick.

    I cannot believe the LONGEST you can set the pick limit to is 2 Mins, absolutely baffling. Especially when every other platform allows you to turn off the timer completely.

    It's not that much of an ask, just a "No Time Limit" per pick.

    In original DYNASTY DRAFT, often teams are picking up to 30 players and most people are not available for those long periods of time. FLEA FLICKER dynasty draft was online and no time limit even though commish will push all along. NOBODY (not many) has knowledge to go deeper than 20 max per team. If its a real dynasty the original draft has to have a more forgiving clock. Please allow online no time limit selections.

    This is the only thing preventing a true virtual offline draft. I'm forced to use a third party service to do our offline drafts virtually. We like to take breaks, give extra time for picks if we want to... PLEASE implement this feature or at least make it longer than 2 minutes.

    Each team gets a Draft timer like chess. Example, 10 or 15 minutes for the whole draft. The time it takes to make each pick subtracts from that time. If a team runs out of time, they only get 25 seconds to make a pick for the rest of the draft. Still have a max time of 4 minutes. This will speed up drafts and give teams extra time for the picks that they need to do some emergency research.

    Definitely need an untimed draft option. Too many things come up during the draft where this could become a problem for us which is the reason why I conduct our league's draft on a 3rd party site. I would love to host the draft on Yahoo, but won't even consider it until there is an untimed option. The draft is an event, so please stop forcing rushed picks.

    I'm still doing an "offline draft" but wanted to utilize the new "Draft presenter" function. Having 2 minutes as the longest timer is not ideal for a draft like this. We need the option for much longer time limits. It also, would be helpful for any slow draft leagues, too

    This would not be a hard fix to do before draft day. Please we need this before anything else like playing two teams at once.

    I’d like an option for a slow draft as other sites offer it and it has become tougher to get league mates together at the same time when they are in multiple leagues. Also, this option allows for great league banter over the span of 1-2 weeks during the preseason. Thanks!

    2 minutes is ridiculous. Too many issues can come up, internet issues etc.. Just give the option for untimed drafts.

    This would make live drafts infinitely better if we could have the option to remove the time limit altogether. In the past, I’ve used a third party online draft board to make and track selections so that we could make picks without having a limit. If Yahoo would allow no limits to Comissioners, we could use the Yahoo draft board and not have to bother with inputting picks after our live drafts. Would love to see this happen.

    Having a slow draft option for drafts would be great. Sleeper does this and is a great tool to add. Maybe different times options. From 4 hrs to maybe 24hrs

    having an increased time limit or even an option to have no time limit at all. Having increased time limit can help those are are getting into the hobby used to what they are doing and also help people out that are new or not familiar with the site.
