I've been in survivor pools with the opposite objective. Pick one team to lose every week and you cannot reuse that team. It would add a fun twist to the standard game.

This would be nice and the system should be able to track if a team was selected in an earlier. If a team is eliminated, then the site can remove any future picks automatically.

I would not want to enforce this but have no issues if it's an option for leagues to choose. Missing an early game, either by accident or intentional, is still lowering their overall ceiling for the week. You're making an assumption on what their points would or should have been. Yeah, it's unlucky if a big favorite loses on Thursday and one person doesn't have to lose as many points as they might have and others did. But if someone tries that "strategy" every week, they'll lose in the long run.
P.S. I always get my picks in on time so I'm coming at this objectively. :)

Definitely agree with the prior comments to keep the max points constant at 16 each week and then go down from there. It keeps the total available points each week close. For leagues that allow your low score to be dropped, not having this option really penalizes a person that has a bad non-bye week. As it stands today, almost everyone's dropped score is going to come from a bye week since there is simply fewer points available.

Yeah, this would be a nice option to allow, assuming commissioners could still leave it at one if they wanted.

I added a very similar idea for more control over the draft room. It would be nice if the commish could pause the draft at any time or even roll back to a prior point. Being able to adjust the length of time between picks (e.g. more time in earlier rounds) or per team (e.g. someone needs it due to a conflict) would be handy. Lastly, the ability to proxy in selections may be nice if someone leaves early and provides a cheat sheet to follow. (Yes, they could pre-rank but drafts are fluid and the ranks may change from what they were beforehand.)

Exporting to Excel or CSV is a very useful feature when sites offer it. I gravitate towards sites with that option.
