Dynasty/Keepers - Leave league open to allow trading, adds, and drops during the offseason.
This would allow managers to make all league transactions within the platform, including adds, drops, and trades, throughout the year.

YES!!! Please remedy this before next year. I love the dynasty format, but it's too complicated to keep track of stuff during the off season. Leagues should be open and managers should be able to drop, add, and trade players all year long.

I would like to see this as well... I currently have to track my off season transactions on a spreadsheet.

Absolutely necessary...

B,
You are a genius, my friend...we need to get into a League together! I'm currently Commissioner of 3 leagues for hockey and football. Contact me if you're interested in joining any of them...
(I think this is the same person that I've shared numerous threads with)

As an update, I just completed a pre-season trade in my Keeper League with another Owner, but I was forced to notify the rest of the League via text message and then MANUALLY update the Draft Order by swapping the appropriate Draft Picks. It's a lot of hassle for a very simple feature...
So, has there been any traction on this?

Fix it, Yahoo! At least allow the commish to edit rosters all year. Even ESPN allows that!

At the absolute very least, allow the league commissioners to edit rosters during the off-season. This way when people make trades for keepers we are ready to roll once the season starts, and we don't have to spend hours making changes.

Fix this, Yahoo. We talk fantasy football all year long, we need to be allowed to make trades too. Fix it or we'll move our league to a platform that caters to its users.

Absolutely agreed on this one!! We've had the same group playing Yahoo fantasy football for 8 years, going on our 9th. I'm absolutely shocked this is still an issue!! Unfortunately if this is not corrected this year, we will be moving our league to another platform. Step up Yahoo, this is first day stuff and needs to be corrected immediately!!

There has to be a dozen requests for this off season trade. Yahoo get the point!

Absolutely agree. I think about trades all off season, then have to piece them together and keep track separately. It would be so convenient to have them available all the time!

Hello, can you answer me?

Yes, this is a really good idea. Keeper/dynasty leagues are increasing exponentially because we want to do FF during the summer months! Please give us an unlocked roster as soon as you open the season and let us trade! Thanks!

I HOPE SOMETHING HAPPENS SOON, IVE BEEN USING YAHOO FOR YEARS, FIRST TIME FOR A KEEPER BUT I WOULD HATE TO HAVE TO SWITCH TO ESPN OR NFL.COM

I have to agree... minus the explicatives. I think the keeper leagues need to have a setting for off-season trades to happen with both players and draft picks. As the commissioner, I am having to keep up with all of this information and make the adjustments once the keepers have been set and its just a huge hassle.. If you could fix this issue, it would be of GREAT benefit!

Again... why is yahoo doing nothing? no changes. same old garbage

If they cant figure this very important request out this year, unfortunately we'll be taking our league elsewhere. We're checking out some sites that support offseason activity this year, tired of keeping track of all our trades and roster moves no to mention draft picks. Please do something to fix this Yahoo! Even take a month off if you have to, but to not allow anything until your draft ready is crazy. Its hard to take Yahoo! Seriously when it looks like they put as little thought into keeper/dynasty as possible. Just fired it up to gain users without any regard for quality. Sadly,I'm sure things will stay the same. Looks like we're playing ESPN or something next year.

If you (yahoo) cannot satisfy our fantasy football needs, we will be forced to use another provider. How difficult can it be to allow trades all year long?

Let us make trades
