Rosters/Lineups - Increase maximum number of roster slots.

This change would increase the maximum number of roster slots your league can have (not including IR slots). Currently the maximum is 30 roster slots.

    Definitely need to increase the maximum allowable roster size from 30 to at least 35. Our entire league agrees with this.

    Just in case someone at Yahoo is actually reading this and acting on it, I agree 40-45 spots would be much better than only 30. Although in leagues that has lots of teams it would probably not be so good. I am in a local (off-line draft) league and we have never had more than 6 teams. We'd love to have more spots to add more IDPs (and some of the up and coming WRs we are missing out on).

    Our league drafts top players in early june and then has a Bench Expansion process for each week in the month of August and/or the 1st week of September to add additional talent to our teams. As commissioner, I have to increase the bench each week in August. It would be helpful if this process was programmed into the Yahoo system to automatically increase the bench size each week in August in the commissioner tools.

    The Maximum Team Roster Size should be increased to 40-50 positions to accommodate leagues with 11 starting offensive and defensive players.

    I suggest this idea every year.

    I am in year 16 of my dynasty league with Yahoo and we really would like more than 30 roster spots.

    We have a dynasty league that has a large starting lineup which includes IDP. We would like to expand our starting lineups and rosters but yahoo's system only allows 30 player roster. Can you raise the number of players allowed on team rosters from 30 players to 40 or more? Why is there a limit on your system?

    Can anyone from Yahoo comment on this one? It has been floating around for years "Gathering Feedback". Is there any realistic chance of it happening for 2021?

    Under the "INACTIVE" roster spots, we currently only have "Bench (BN)" or "Injured Reserve (IR)". How hard would it be for Yahoo to add a 3rd option, called "Practice Squad" (PS)? Our league has used Yahoo for the past 15 years and its very much appreciated. However, we are a big money league and we charge for everything. We would like to use this new "PS" position (while charging owners to enable) to carry the "handcuffs" of the league (Mattison, Edmunds, Pollard, etc).

    Anyway, we're looking to selected players that we could charge more keeping on your roster, without using actual bench spots. Does this make sense? We'd like to separate these players with a visual identifier, so enabling a Practice Squad option would help some of us. I realize this isn't a global request, but if its no issues to do so, can you? There would be no need for any certain designation to use that slot, meaning any player with any designation (SUSP, NA, COVID, IR, O, Q, D, etc) could be placed there. We're just looking to add this new
    Inactive designation spot.

    Can Yahoo help for CY21 NFL season?

    I run a dynasty league interested in using a full set of IDPs. In total after accounting for the starters on both sides of the ball, and a full dynasty league bench size of 19, it leaves us at 40 total players on the roster. Why is the limit only 30 players?

    Yes please do this ASAP. Lots of leagues want more than 30. For leagues that don't want more than 30, they of course don't have to use that capability so it should not have a negative impact on those leagues.
