League Chat - Add polls to league chat and message boards
Add the option for leagues to create a poll for managers to vote on in the league chat.

This is a critical function of a great Fantasy League. It allows for easy interaction on rule changes and for voices to be heard. It is a must function and we have thoughts of moving our league to platform that supports polling. Our league has been going for almost 10 years...hate to leave.

Adding a Poll feature in the chat. This will allow league managers to vote on new changes that can be made.

Totally agree. Polling is the easiest way to see if changes should be made to league settings and scoring. Why this isn't available is beyond me.

Have a poll option so that Leagues that want to vote on rules, rosters, ect. can vote on them anonymously.

I agree. This is really ridiculous. There are important topics our league has to hammer out and polls make things MUCH easier. I don't know why they got rid of them in the first place. Do you know who does have polls? Facebook. We now have a league Facebook group for our league because it is so much more user-friendly, quick and fun (memes, pics, etc.) Been using Yahoo for 20 years and it now appears that Yahoo is losing the tech war to other Fantasy Sports competitors. Maybe it is finally time to switch. But who am I kidding. Yahoo won't be reading this...

Polls are very important for running a league. Picking a draft time and changing league rules generally need to have a way for the commissioner to gather consensus. Very hard to make decisions as a commissioner without this. Bring polls back!
In response to people saying do it over email or the message board, this does not work. If you want to poll to see if passing yards should be A)1 point per 25 yards or B)1 per 10 yards, you need a poll. Over email/message board you'll get responses about having decimal for points and that teams should have team QBs instead of individuals, or whatever. You need a formal way to say, "Here are the options... vote" instead of just a venue to go on a rant that may be somewhat related to the question with no way to answer your narrow question.
One vote per team, simple way to get a clear answer.

I am extremely disappointted with Yahoo right now. I have been using this for my primary league that I have been commissioner of since 2004. This is a very short sighted decision to remove polls. I can't possibly imagine the logic behind removing it, There is no reason for it, and all Yahoo is accomplishing is adding more reasons to consider other service providers. Come on Yahoo...

Bring back the option to post pictures on the message board. For the past few years you have slowly made the message board and the site in general worse and worse. This is annoying and I will be leaving next season if this continues.

This is a commissioner's best friend. Please bring back the polls. They are vital to making rule changes and lead to more democratic leagues.

I have been participating in Fantasy sports for almost 15 years. I have used yahoo, nfl, espn, and even fanball back in the day. Until two years ago, I have loved yahoo the best. That started to change last year, when Yahoo took away the message boards. After enough protest, they brought them back. Now the Polls have gone away? Why? This is how MANY leagues set up votes to change settings. This is also how MANY leagues use to set an online draft time. I am beyond frustrated how this website is taking a step backward in communication now 2 years in a row. Maybe it's time for the leagues I am in to leave for another website. One of the yahoo leagues I am in, where I am not a commissioner, has already said they are done with yahoo for next season. If we cannot communicate with each other, then this is not much of a website. It's 2017 , not 1987. This is ridiculous.

This is a very big deal that needs to be fixed ASAP. Its hard enough getting 10 adults to remotely agree on anything. Without the Poll option, Yahoo Football has taken a huge step back. Please bring back!

Trying to vote for something via email is a giant PitA. Polls allow for anonymity and clear league decision making. How hard can it be to keep up? It's a no-brainer feature.

Yes bring them back, makes commissioner so much easier and shows the league the commissioner isn't colluding or just deciding things to benefit anyone specific. Why would you just take it away, ridiculous.

Bring back the Poll Feature. Things needs voted on each year to make sure everyone agrees to league rules and providing proof of voting later on. Seems like such a simple thing I do not understand why it was disabled.

I would love for there to be an option to poll your league members for different changes that would effect the league. Please, please, please bring this option back as another tab under the Message League tab.
