My league uses 1 day waiver periods. Players dropped when waivers were cleared early Wednesday are not availble for more than 24 hours, causing them to be unavailable to use during the Thursday game. This is the response I got from an agent within Yahoo:

"Got it, this is actually intended. Waivers will require an entire day to pass to qualify for the 1 day rule. What this means is, for example, if a player is dropped on a Tuesday, the first full day they are on waivers is Wednesday, since Tuesday doesn't count. They'd need to be on waivers all of Wednesday, then clear on Thursday to count.
It is a bit confusing, but the players were dropped on the 10th, so the first full day is the 11th, marking them to clear on the 12th."

Because of the above, players are not available to be picked up for the Thursday game. Why not just make the waiver period 24hrs rather than this whole "full day" deal
