Particularly, it would be great if there were more adjustable length of play bonsues instead of just 40 yard plays. It would also be great to add points for targets and negative points for drops.

1) Allow combined yardage points for WR/TE/RB to allow their yardage totals to count toward points combining rushing and receiving.
2) Make an option for awarding points for 60+ yard field goals
3) Allow leagues to set a maximum number of spots one team can hold for one position. (Ex. You can roster maximum 5 QBs)

4) Allow an option where leagues can award points based on defenses putting up shut outs per quarter instead of for the entire game with an option to add bonus points if a defense manages to shut out its opponents for the entire games. (Ex. 2 points per shut out quarter and a 2 point bonus for the whole game would be 10 total points) and these points would be awarded per quarter instead of awarded at the start of the game then subtracted as the game progresses.

My idea is to add 'QB Wins' as a scoring category (e.g., If a QB plays >50% of the snaps and his team wins the game he gets X bonus points). This would allow QB value to better reflect the value they bring on the field and incentivize rostering good QBs on good teams that may not traditionally be considered a top fantasy performer (think Sam Darnold or CJ Stoud).

I have been on Yahoo in my league for 15 years now and you guys need to really invest more in this. It's one of the few areas that bring traffic to your site still. We need Victory points and other aspects of customized scoring to be able to bring leagues like mine with a thousand dollar buy-in to the next level. I'd even be willing to pay for this "Platinum" version of Yahoo Fantasy Football. Please don't let it get to a point where long time commissioners like myself need to leave Yahoo because you refuse to keep up with the times. Invest in your platform and capabilities!

My league really likes the idea of the yardage option on field goals. However, when it's by itself, an 18-yard field goal would only be 1.8 points. Our suggestion would be allowing us to set a minimum point figure. So for example, we could set field goals at one point for every 10 yd, with a minimum of three points. In the case, the field goal is less than 30 yd.

Right now, the highest setting in Yahoo! for kickers is 50yard+, and you can assign a point total. So if you assign 5 points to that category and your kicker knocks one through from 50 yards, you get 5 points. But then if that same kicker belts one from 63 yards, you still only get 5 points.

I propose fractional points for kickers. So if my kicker kicks a 44 yard field goal, he would get 4.4pts. If he kicks a 63-yarder, he would get 6.3 points. And so on. At least give us the option to get more points, as kickers are regularly kicking 60+ yard field goals now.

I have a suggestion for football leagues. I want to add scoring where it's everyone against each other and the top 50% scores get a win, bottom 50% gets a loss.

However, I don't want to add it for a whole season, just one week (or more) where there's no head to head scoring and just Play All

Given the current trend of NFL teams going for it on 4th down, I believe team defenses should be awarded 2pts for stopping the offense and creating a turnover on downs. Currently there seems to be no setting to allow that to happen.

I think a better way to have defense team scoring would be to start off with zero points and accumulate points for sacks, into and defense TDs as the game progresses
The points scored against doesn't make any sense either as the PAT isn't included in the first TD scored and it should be. Losing points for 0-6 and more for the PAt isn't right.
It should be 0-7..8-14..and so on

Please bring back game scores on the game log for fantasy football. It is super helpful to be able to see how a player has performed in wins vs losses vs blowouts, etc. It was great having this at a glance. Huge pain to have to go look up the team's schedule and line it up.

A league should be able to customize the yardage given up range by the defense.

Add options to score targets and drops. Would be nice to reward points for targets, and included negative points for dropped balls.

More bonus options for length of play. Currently, only bonus options for total yardages achieved in a game, and 40 yard play bonuses. Would be nice to have more length of play bonus options, like 20 yard play, 30 yard play, etc.

In Yahoo's default scoring settings Defenses gain points when special teams players pick up return yards or (punt or kick) return touchdowns. Based on the defense gaining points in these scenarios, logically it seems that if a special teams player fields a punt or kick and then fumbles the ball (the fumble is then recovered by the opposing team) the defense should lose points due to a lost fumble. Looking at the scoring tools in Yahoo fantasy football there is no acknowledgement of this scenario allowing a commissioner to allow the defense to lose points for a special teams fumble. Lacking this option isn't the end of the world, but just seems like a logical inconsistency with how scoring is applied for special teams play with regards to overall defensive scoring. Traditional fantasy scoring is too TD dependent. I like that we can include points for carries, completions, receptions, first downs, etc. But I think there is still more we can do. I would like to include these:
Dropped passes
Targets
Red zone efficiency bonuses (double points for existing stats like first downs, yards, receptions, carries, completions, etc. when they occur in the red zone)

It would be nice to have an option to get for example half the yardage for any pass interferences a player gets.

1. Flexible “Median Score” Weeks
Current: Median score is a great addition for competitive balance, but in a 12-team league with 13 weeks, having it every week can be overkill for some groups. Suggestion: Allow commissioners to select specific weeks for median scoring (e.g., only 2–3 chosen weeks). For 12 team. Would pick 2 weeks so you play everyone once and median score twice. Bonus: Let commissioners custom set those weeks, ideally aligning with planned watch parties. Display: Add a “Median Matchup Tracker” on the live scoreboard for those weeks so the league can see the standings shift in real time and talk trash accordingly.

2. College Player Keeper Slot - Concept: Add a special draft slot for one college player per team in keeper leagues. Why: This allows for long-term rebuilding strategies and extra engagement year-round. Example: Our league drafts one college player offline. If you keep them, they count as your 7th-round pick the following year. Typically, 3–4 teams keep theirs. Benefit: Increases draft variety, makes keeper leagues deeper, and mimics real-world prospect stashing.

3. Enhanced Draft Experience Problem: Our league prefers a draft board on a big screen and drafts in person, so we run it offline to avoid revealing other managers’ shortlists. Suggestion: Add a League Draft Display Mode that hides personal queues but shows picks as they happen. Allow importing/exporting Yahoo draft results so leagues can: Draft in person at their own pace (e.g., 90 seconds per pick, rounds 1–5 on Friday night, party, finish Saturday) Then sync results into Yahoo seamlessly. Benefit: Keeps the live, social feel of an offline draft while still enjoying Yahoo’s post-draft grading, rosters, and instant projections.

Our league is based on your active players full season stats. Unfortunately Yahoo currently only allows stats accrued after a player has been added to your team. There should be a full season option.
