End of 'My Yahoo'!
As many have said, removing My Yahoo is a terrible idea. The new page contains all the rubbish of every other news site, without, that I can see, the ability to actually choose content. You say you are changing to show more of what's interesting to me. You're not, 95% of what is on the page is of no interest to me at all. Once My Yahoo has gone, so will I be, after nearly 20 years.

Keep My Yahoo. I use it multiple times a day. It shows exactly what I want to see. No algorithm will show me more, correctly.
Do not remove MyYahoo. There is no world where reading the information I want by scrolling is going to keep me as a paying Yahoo customer.

Save current My Yahoo
It makes no sense to butcher a good thing, most of the posts I have read agree. There is no value to the changes to My Yahoo, and I would be saddened to have to find another platform. Seems to me, this sort of change was proposed several years ago, does the management team not read these post?

Why mess with something that most loyal yahoo people are is a very bad idea
IF you are going to get rid of my splash page that I laid out the way I want it and not just to read BS news stories that you think are important. I will start downloading my email to transfer to google/mail
Long time user and supporter.

What is best service to replace customized MyYahoo homepage? Nov 28, 2024
If MyYahoo homepage is gone; can anyone recommend another service that will customize my Home Page with information I WANT.

A bad idea.
You tried this once before, about a decade ago. It was a bad idea then, and it is still a bad idea. When my custom page goes away, then I will too.

I've used My Yahoo as my homepage/landing page for 25 years
I don't want it to go away. The generic Yahoo landing page doesn't allow customization and doesn't even have dark mode. But, whatever, Verizon is going to do what they want I guess. Just sucks.

Don't Do It!
If you replace the actually self-personalized My Yahoo page with the fake personalized Yahoo people are going to leave in droves.

If the new site stays I am leaving. All the things that are important to us are there, make the new page customizable or that is it, goodbye
Leave things alone

New format for My Yahoo sucks....... I already have what is important to me on there. Leave it alone!
Just checked out the new My Yahoo page, and it sucks. Do not change it or remove it, or I will have to find a new home page (and it won't be the one you are pushing onto us!)

remove My Yahoo = remove users!!
If you remove My Yahoo, me and many other users will leave. I am one of your biggest fans; Yahoo mail was my first and still is my primary email. I use Yahoo search engine when most people use Google. I have used My Yahoo as my go to homepage for as long as I can remember. It is set up exactly how I want it. If you take it away, I will have to find a new alternative and there are lots out there!! I don't understand why you want fewer users.

Removing My Yahoo - Don't!
I just tried out your new page design, I want to keep My Yahoo. I am not interested in all that **** you filled the new page with. I personalized my My Yahoo page how I want it. Why didn't you ask us, the users, before unilaterally deciding to do away with everything we like? I have been a yahoo user since 1989! I use my yahoo email address for everything, I was one of the first to use yahoo for email. You can go check, seriously! DON'T FIX WHAT ISN'T BROKEN!!!!!!

The New My Yahoo as presented is worthless.
I started using Yahoo are my primary mail about 20-25 some years ago simply because it integrated with the homepage, which I really liked. So, if my reason for using email is being mangled, I see no reason to use the email service except as a back-up. IT and site designers have to be among the least perspicacious people of the face of Earth.

You are idiots. Are you the people that advised Kamala on her campaign strategy.
Take away the My Yahoo page. Go ahead, I dare you. I will simply stop using Yahoo altogether. This is the kind of thinking that causes solvent companies to struggle for market share. This is the kind of nonsense that lost the election.

My Yahoo needs to STAY AS IT IS!
That new version to replace "My Yahoo" is AWFUL! Whomever came up with that version needs to re-do it! OR! Just leave "MY YAHOO" alone. There's no customization to it, and to be fair Yahoo's idea, values, and leanings are not my own, and the "new version" is awful

BAD IDEA..!!!!!!!
I have been a loyal member here for a very long time.
The best part of the site IS the "My Yahoo" page..
I have mine customized so that I can see ALL the important things
to me and NOT all the other junk that I am not interested in..
It is another example of the minority dictating to the majority of what is best for everyone...
If you wand all that junk on YOUR home page.. good for you..
BUT LEAVE MY "MY YAHOO" PAGE ALONE.!!!!58th ranked
