Why hasn't the portfolio edit capability been put back into the Yahoo Finance system ?????

A year later after all the requests to restore easy portfolio edit capability, and still nothing changed. Why not? So nonsensical to make it impossible to edit existing positions, much less delete a stock symbol. Trying to change stocks who have been bought out, or the symbol changed, and other reasons. Come on Yahoo, get with it. Used to be one of the best features of Yahoo.
Now I'm constantly bombarded with linking my brokerage account and wanting me to trade through your site, don't think so.

Please restore the ability to delete a portfolio. I have also posted this separately. These instructions from Product Support do not work:
To delete your Portfolio, please review this help article: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/finance-for-desktop/create-edit-delete-portfolio-lists-yahoo-finance-sln4249.html?impressions=true for more information.
There is no option to remove or delete a portfolio in the Settings sub-menu, as described.

Why do you people ***** up everything you have on your site that is working and good? You had a nice portfolio site anyone could use. Then you changed it. I can only surmise you don't really care about your company's reputation and how people view it. How can any of you reading this stand to continue working for such a corporation?

yahoo finance portfolio edit fix
adding stocks to my currnet portfolio is annying , let's say i want to add a stock and put it in the middle of my holding .. then i need to drag it all the way down. instead please add a edit box where i can see all my holdings and just type in the stock i want to add in the place i want to add it to.
while pressing "add symbol" just open a box of the list of stocks so i can move and reoder them easily
please try to add this simple but useful feature -

Updating or changing any Portfolio detail is horrendous. Only 2 changes allowed befor screen must be Refreshed to continue. Screen with My Holdings box, and Enter holdings for easy performance tracking box are useless and must be closed after each change before proceeding.

This new portfolie is too complicated. With the old method, there was only one view. It was very easy to edit, add symbols and make changes.

I can no longer edit my holdings to drop a sold stock-----I can add, not delete. Why, why.
Someone did not think this through. How do I go back to original. -
Jonathan Belden commented
Make it the way you want in a couple of minutes. Click on "full view", click on "edit" , check items you want and uncheck items you don't.

What was a convenient one step process has now become a cumbersome two step process. I cannot even add the ticker 'URTY' as the process doesn't recognize it, but can go to the quote window and get a quote for the very same ticker. It is manifestly apparent that you didn't do any beta testing with users of Yahoo Finance or even listened to their feedback. If you had, you would't have foisted this abominable turkey on your users. Please, please, pretty please return to your old format, flawed as it was, because it would be a vast improvement over the abortion you have given us.

I have been using your finance application for a long time and it has been very useful to follow my investment portfolios.
Starting about a month or so ago I cannot make any changes, I am only allowed to add the symbol, but I cannot enter the amount or price of the opened ones, since if I "add / change" the page disappears, and the modification is left undone. Please let me know what I can or should do to get it back like it was for years.
