Portfolio daily and weekly updates need to be done later in the day.
In Finance, you provide daily and weekly updates of the portfolios but they are usually inaccurate since you provide them before mutual and index have settled for the day. Several mutual funds do not settle and issue the daily results until 6:15 or 6:30 pm. The results that you issue daily or based on quotes from the day before quite often and result in totally inaccurate results. The results should not be calculated and messages sent out until after 7 pm.
As is, the messages or useless and quite often show a loss or gain for the day when it is actually the total opposite.
