new layout stinks and is difficult to read

Go back to the classic format, the creators of the new format have little or no idea why and how the users used the classic format. do your homework.
At least keep the classic format as a working option for users. -

Bring back the classic. When I choose to go back to classic, it don't work, so why have it! Whoever designed this new format should be fired. I want to see my overall gains/losses when I pull up my portfolio at any given time and not click somewhere else to find it. Been using Yahoo Finance for well over 20 + years and this is an absolute abortion!

Unable to see more than eight columns of data if a portfolio contains more than 19 symbols, and the column headers scroll off the page.
The right-side pane takes up too much room and lists redundant information. Move the market data back to the top.
Fix the new portfolio list so it works the same as the previous version. -

To maximize the value advertisers gain from Yahoo Finance, it's crucial to engage the broadest possible audience of end users. Offering a choice in page layout—such as reintroducing the Classic View alongside the current layout—could significantly enhance user satisfaction and retention. Many end users have expressed a preference for the Classic View, and accommodating their needs would likely increase engagement, benefitting advertisers who rely on these interactions to effectively reach their audience.
Yahoo Finance plays a pivotal role in connecting advertisers with potential customers, and user experience is at the core of this relationship. By providing layout options, Yahoo Finance demonstrates a commitment to both its end users and its advertisers, reinforcing its position as a premier platform for financial news and advertising.
Would it be too significant a challenge to reintroduce the Classic View as an option? The potential benefits—higher user satisfaction, increased engagement, and better outcomes for advertisers—make this an investment worth considering. The math clearly supports this move as a win-win for all stakeholders.
This version frames the suggestion as a strategic decision for Yahoo Finance's success and emphasizes the alignment of user satisfaction with advertiser interests.

Just leave the old option avaliable, it was not broken. Finance was always my goto site and I recommended to others as well. but the new interface is just as bad as the others now. Sad since I had been visiting the site since 2000amd now i have no reason to yahoo. You should remove the option from the hamburger since it doesn't work anymore.

What teenager developed the "new" Yahoo Finance page?!? Cluttered, unusable, unfriendly. And, that doesn't even address the ridiculous scroll bar. At least the "old" format was usable. Now looking for a simple alternative that has not been trashed by exuberant "improvements". Any suggestions?

At a minimum, please allow us the option to show only the user's Custom View selections to allow more columns to be seen. Expand the format to fit standard widescreen monitors. Freeze the column headers so that you can see what the data elements are when you scroll down. Horizontal scroll bar should also be accessible at any time, not just when you are at the bottom and you can't see the column titles.

Bring back the old format. It was laid out logically and quicker to find important information

Could we get back the button to toggle to the classic yahoo finance? Otherwise the current format is so bad I will be shopping around for a new platform.
I get wanting to update the platform but this change is too drastic. It makes the news updates much bigger than the stock tickers. Doesn't give us any adjustability. And is overall just clunky and hard to use.

MSN is no better IMO. Need a site that you can delete or add/change columns to your watchlist, and a place to make notes about a stock. I dont need their predetermined columns in my watchlist like volume or market cap. Yahoo Finance had/has that, but now you cant see it without scrolling at the bottom of the watchlist. Move the scrolling to the top part of the watchlist and YF would be ok

The new version of Yahoo Finance is horrible. You have every single long-time user looking for another platform. Eventually, something will come along. Congrats on not listening to your users.

Thank you for the info. Exploring it now. I guess Yahoo Finance is one the few sites left that people visit Yahoo these days. Talking about self destruction! Unbelievable.

Please make the classic available.
