I'm losing around 50% of my speed to analyse stocks, The downloading individual stocks take a very long time too much data. There is no right panel hide option the columns of the portfolio view. Cannot customises and see wide views, man, I miss the previous version, simple and effective. The colunm width for names is to large. Please let me have my old version. I would be happy to speak with a developers before making this live, you guys need to get in contact with the people having issues and have one on one communications with them, have a beta version and get a good understanding of their workflow process before making this live.

In the meantime:
mportant: found in one comment that if you scroll to the bottom, some place on the left or right of the screen there is an option to return to CLASSIC. It worked for me.

Strongly agree!
Why spoil what used to be the optimal presentation format for a portfolio when viewed on an iPad screen? There doesn’t seem to be a way to get back to the original classic view either as claimed by some postings. -

The previous portfolio format was the best for viewing a 30 stock portfolio. I used it repeatedly every day. I was shocked to see the new format which tries to offer more flexibility and more features at the expense of providing a concise effective presentation of information.
The compact version which provided a more condensed display is also no longer offered!
If you think the new format maybe better for new users, at least keep the old format for existing users. -

New 'Yahoo! Finance' 'Summary' & 'My Portfolio' web page designs are not an improvement but a regressive effort to improve website design and function. Ergonomics in designing the new webpages have poor adjustment of page space and data locations.

Please provide an option to the previous 'Yahoo! Finance' legacy financial web page design and function. Recent upgrades to Finance web pages are inefficient, requiring too many screen adjustments and time to view content. The previous webpages incorporated traditional financial data design, which has been perfected & accepted for decades by investors. This new 'Summary' page design requires too much mouse movement for adjusting screen to view content on the same web page. This also is a waste of time distracting from the purpose of viewing summary content. Your new designs are not ergonomically designed to see pertinent data at a glance. Obviously, the new web pages weren't designed and approved by seasoned financial professionals for input and suggestions.

Go back to the classic finance. The new finance page is horrible. Slow and hard to read.

It should say, we really screwed up and are working to fix the plethora of problems that we caused when we updated Yahoo Finance. Otherwise, I don't think they're listening, and their actions are intended to shut down the platform because they made it unusable.

The full width table was a good improvement. The quote lookup panel on the right, that cannot be disabled - eliminates that improvement.

You don't even look at what competition offers. What you provide is unusable and not well thought out. The remaining people hanging on here hate it, and those who left aren't coming back. You are self-destructing. Ever heard of the KISS method, or if it ain't broke, don't fix it? You would have people coming back if you put things back the way they were 20 years ago.

Bring the classic look back ASAP! No notes, right panel hide the columns of the portfolio view. Just hate it.

This is useless to me. You don't even allow us to select between Basic and Enhanced!!!

Ii will try to give positive feedback on a later post. But i thought i was the only one having problems. Upon reading previous comments, i have basically the same problems as others.
For now, let me say i use the same version in the following platforms and i am getting the same problems:IPad 5th gen/ IOS 16.7.10 / Safari Browser
IPad 5th gen/ IOS 16.7.10 / Chrome Browser
IPhone 14 / IOS 18.1 / Safari BrowserWithout going into other details for now, the Old Classic version was an excellent product, easy to use, easy to find ways to modify the screens ans as close to creating a spreadsheet view. The last enhancement to add automatic dividends was the greatest addition you could have added. BUT everything after that in changing the format of the pages, destroyed a great product and made it useless.
I have sent via separate email, copies of a before and after views of my displays to Kelsey. There are so many things wrong as a result of the latest changes on your site/ version that i do not have the time to provide examples. My suggestion is, for now revert to the last Classic version and stabilize the system to that version. By the way, at one point, i was taken to a Beta version that i had not requested. It took me a while to get out of it since most of the screen was garbled.
At present i cannot do any of the manual updates to the spreadsheet- like adding additional cash nor withdrawing cash nor adding or selling stock, because the update screens do not work or i cannot find where the “trigger” cell are located.
Some frozen headers are no longer frozen.
Some new permanent and useless “boxes” have been added to some screen views, which block relevant data from the main screen. On the Iphone, the new version is useless because most of the screen is takem up by useless data boxes that should be on a separate view. So, as others indicated, i am looking for another platform, but please note, if you would go back to the old Classic View, that would be a real plus.
I will try to provide more detail feedback at a later time.
