Bring back the old Yahoo Finance layout

Why when something is working 100%, is there always somebody that to justify his job, decides to make changes to it? You had a perfect format for stocks portfolios one month ago, Yahoo Finance was then my preferred stock market site. Then the smart guy decided to change a lot of things a first time and it was a mistake, but I could live with it. But now, this! It's horrible! Why break something when it is working just fine!

I really dislike to new format. For me, Info such as market value changes being locked on the side just takes space away from viewing my portfolio info. I only have one monitor screen to view info. Old format worked. new doesn't. I haven't found a way to configure it to my needs.

I am totally lost and nothing works well anymore, I can't even see the full price of the stocks, I hate this new format, I am switching to another stock tracking site, that is the most awful changes you ever made. I can only follow things OK on my android, and that's it, I cannot use yahoo finance on my computer no longer. BAD changes, very bad.

this sucks.
Now the page is completely different, and the total amount in value is not present on the same page where you can see your stocks. Why the **** would you change that? Looks like everyb improvement you make on the sirte is just getting it worse?? I mean, with the add auto scrolling at the end of the page, now you can even reach the feedback link!!

Numbers keep blinking and added more columns than I wanted.It was hard to scroll all the way to the bottom to reach this "Feedback" button because it kept loading new feeds!

the information is either not there or hidden - historical info, financials. these were very useful in selection of stocks for investment. when a concept is working don't "fix" it

Previously able to return to Classic. Now, when I click on “return to classic”, it just refreshes page in New Version.

Ticker name, shares bought, sold, dividends, realized gains/loss. Keep it simple. -

The old view has not so much unrelated information. I want to see my values in this view. If I want the markets or news I would go to a another page.
The right colum needs to much space, one can't disable it complete. Why there are a empty space on the border if I unzoom the page, why not my colums?

Go back to old website. This one is glitchy and annoying. Half the time I can't get my full page custom watchlist to come up without other things intruding.

The new YF is not good. It is much less readable for my needs than the old YF. I have to decide which is best since each has problems. It would be nice if you could keep the old YF layout but make enhancements from the list of Likes below.
Problems:
1. The company name fills from the right. This is not standard and must be changed to filling from the left. Then you must cut the column width to at most the longest name in the list. You really should truncate to a fixed length.
2. Compact Table Density option is a MUST. Way too much scrolling in a long list of tickers. Way too much white space everywhere.
3. Squeeze the columns closer together for easier reading. Too much space between columns.
4. Do not center and spread out the columns when only 5 or 6 columns displayed in a view. It should be filled from the left and squeezed together to leave white space at the right.
5. Clicking on My Portfolio the display of All Portfolio Holdings is too slow. Get rid of the graphic or allow the user to turn the display to speed it up. I had to change my bookmark off this page.
Likes:
1. I have 50-60 portfolios from which i follow groups of stocks. The old YF didn't properly display them in the My Portfolio hover view. The new YF displays them in an easily readable format in 5 columns of 11 rows each. Well done.
2. The new YF historical data has improved readability. It seems to display more days of trading data on the same page and most importantly a week of trading data stays in view when switching between tickers. This makes it much easier to calculate a weekly return for 4-5 dozen mutual funds without having to constantly scroll up and down. Good Job.

The "new" YAHOO! Finance layout is a lousy, over designed mess. I DON'T want to enter any of my personal info, stock holdings etc for the world to see or you to monitor and sell the data. I just want a real time ticker to see how my stocks are doing. Ditto for the "new" TAHOO! format. Too many ads, too much wasted white space. Keep it simple and stop wasting my time/forcing "improvements" on me without the chance to opt out.

Please provide a "Button" to switch back to the old Classic Yahoo Finance from the on recently launched. I absolutely hate this new version of Yahoo Finance Plus and want to go back to the Classic version which I love.
