new layout stinks and is difficult to read

This is correct, and well said!

Please return to the old Finance layout... this new layout doesn't display stock information in a user friendly format ... the old format was better!

Not only does the new chart layout suck, but even the old charts freeze for minutes at a time. Tons of people use yahoo finance charts, and nobody likes the new layout. Not only should you get rid of the new layout, but you should figure out why charts freeze daily. It is shocking such a big company can't do something so simple.

Hey, I have a great. Let's take a great platform and impose it on users without doing any meaningful testing. This platform is garbage, and I'm out. Can't even reorder holdings within a portfolio.

Go slowly when add updates.
You have really screwed up the site. It's getting unusable.
The idea of following stock positions on Yahoo finance is redundant as every brokerage has it on their site when you purchase the stock.
You have screwed up a perfectly good site. -

I never opted in to the enhanced version, which I regard as trash. I was able to fix this earlier by selecting "back to classic view" but now I can't find this to fix it after the site yet again messed it up for me.

How do I keep the finance page from changing my view to the inferior "enhanced" version? I never opted in for this. When I remove v2 from the URL, the page puts it back.

In addition to my prior comments, new design takes forever to add a holding, reorder holdings, sort on a data column. I can't even reorder properly because it seems to randomly move the stock - usually one position at a time. This is really atrocious. If I were trying to shut down the platform, I would have done exactly what you did - make it unusable. It looks like no testing was done on this before imposing it upon the users. Mass firings are in order.

This is a terrible redesign. Bring back the previous version which had it's own problems but better than this mess.

Congratulations. You have ruined the best interface on the web. Simply because some programmer from Google wants it to look pretty. Finance has been my home page for all that time, no longer.

New format hides view of selected stock statistics in My View and no longer shows notes on various holdings(I have to go to Holdings and select individual stocks one by one to see the notes on each holding). Annualized Capital gain is no longer shown for stocks held over one year. Why you can’t calculate and display it for stocks is a mystery to me or is it because you are either willfully stupid or do you have that data reserved for Premium customers.

No new idea just change back yahoo finance. I hate 2.0 and will be leaving you after15 years. I know you don't care or you would have acted on this before now. YOU HAD A GOOD PRODUCT BEFORE THE CHANGE. The back to classic option will not work.

Why does Yahoo always have to mess with functions that everyone is use to, and change its layout to a format that doesn't conform to the ticker going across the top as has since its beginning on all sources? It really ****** me off. I WANT TO SEE IT GOING ACROSS THE TOP OF THE PAGE.

Restore the useful version that was exponentially more useable than this new trash.

Looks like a new version was forced upon me today, and it is almost unusable. Trying to use platform in Windows on a 27" monitor. First, this version is a resource hog. Often need to refresh, and forget about streaming quotes. Second, why do I need to bother with a popup that doesn't work well to edit my holdings? It doesn't even give me any confirmation that changes were saved. Third, I have a view set up that has twenty different data columns. I can only see maybe half of them. I have to go inside the frame on the page and scroll to the right to see the rest of them. Then I can't get back to the original ones that I could see (or the page needs to be refreshed). Part of the problem is that you added another frame to the right with information that I don't care about. There is no option to hide that frame. The person who designed this either has no idea of how people use it or Yahoo is trying to intentionally mess it up so people go to mobile or somewhere else. This is horrible, and unless improvements are made quickly, I'll need to rely on something else.

There are literally 0 users that like this new version. Every commenter despises it and with months of feedback Yahoo has only made it worse rather than going back. It is now unreadable and I am switching portfolio trackers and never looking back at Yahoo.

Numerous users like myself have made it clear that we don't like the new Yahoo Finance. It appears that all of our requests are being ignored by yahoo.
