Bring back the old Yahoo Finance layout
new layout stinks and is difficult to read

Why roll this out with myriad glitches? For starters, the MA plot dropdown menu has dropdown as the default. All charts are marred by that window taking up much of the screen with each new ticker entered. Please go back to Classic. I'll live with prices & volume disappearing when hovering over candles.

RETURN TO CLASSIK CHART, PLEASE.

When I change the range on the chart on the summary page, it doesn't show the selected range. E.g., selecting 5-day only shows about half of a 1-day chart. Selecting 3-month only shows about 2 weeks. And why are ranges like 1 month missing from the selections?

New version charts doesn´t calculate increase or decrease percentages!!! So the chart is worth nothing. GO BACK TO CLASSIC CHARTS !!!!

Please fire everybody involved with the new finance page.
Thank you. -

It is a mess, not least of which is no or intermittent market data. The 'classic' format works just fine. Quit foisting the new one on me.

Please keep it fast and simple. Use clean html readable in any browser, Lynx included. Your data is excellent, but the user interface is heavy, slow, bandwidth and energy inefficient, unfortunately.

Keep the 'classic format'. The new 4 column format is too compressed and busy. Text overall is too tiny as is the ticker sidebar.

I want to be able to edit the increased number of shares added through mutual fund distributions and the adjusted share cost. I am not able to do this anymore. I'm not "buying" additional shares. Also, the Cash feature should enable me to change the number myself when adjustments are made due to Required Minimum Distributions. I typically adjust these portfolios monthly. Just make this easier for seniors to update themselves.

Where is the sector pie chart for my portfolio?

I agree with all the other comments, this new format is awful. One of the reasons I have stuck with Yahoo was the ability to create my own personal portfolio and edit the number of shares from splits, dividends, interest, etc. Now I can't change anything without it either looking like I bought or sold something. It is now showing a huge loss when I was only trying to show that there were a few more dollars from interest in a cash account. I have no idea how to repair any of these problems. I don't want my Yahoo information linked to a brokerage account!

I agree with most of the responses. The previous format was fine. Please reinstate it soon! Also, I see a lot of comments (and complaints) here, but no responses from you. Why is that?

Yahoo is NOT YAHOO. It is owned by Apollo Funds, a PVT Equity fund. Yahoo acquired social investing platform CommonStock last summer in an effort to make Yahoo Finance a premiere destination for retail investors. Wonder howz that working out for them? What I don't understand(but I really do) is why make all of these changes in one version update without 'field testing' to see if your ideas would actually improve the functionality. Is it too much to ask that you don’t sacrifice functionality? Your new version is NOT functionally & informationally better than the Classic version that seems to be forever gone. Couldn’t you have just copied and pasted some programming lines into the new version?? What I have gotten is a whole lot of BS in the numerous email responses regarding my issues in v. 2. And the answers to Yahoo Finance (a sub-contractor to Yahoo) that I get are seemingly worthless - in other words, you don't intend take some of these suggestions from loyal users to heart. You give replies that cloud the concerns and frustrate your long time users, to get them to stop complaining. But how do you justify this? Oh, but you don't have to justify your changes. You just have to look like you’re working to improve 2.0 to justify your decisions. Missing functionality in 2.0 eliminates its utility for me
Change for the sake of change is nothing more than an ego ride for the changers.
Does anybody listen to it customers anymore? I can add Yahoo to that increasingly long list I have. -

2.0 is unusable for me. Bring back the previous version. I'm going to take the one portfolio that I updated sic to 2.0 and enter that with MSN money.
