Just go back to the useful layout - focussing on relevant information.

I was wondering the same thing. Does Yahoo Finance ever give an update on these issues? I remember seeing a big message last time they implemented a new UI that said something like "We Listened". Have they all just gone to sleep or are they just hoping we will get used to this horrible new UI?

clunky, charts do not work properly, slow, the primary requirement is speed and accurate data and data display delivery. None of these are achieved in the new system.

This is more about you winning than trying to satisfy your customer base (which won't be your customer base for long)

It is rather evident that whosoever designed the new interface hasn't really used Yahoo Finance or is actively involved in the market! After many many years of using Yahoo! finance, I'm actually looking for alternatives - that's how bad the interface is.
EASY FIX - provide an option to go back to earlier version! And please don't fix something that's not broken!!

Given that pretty much 100% of comments are negative to the new version, you must have strong reasons to keep it. Probably to do with this as a better way to generate income from a very popular site. So if you keep it, here are two ways to improve:
1) People need a broader view so they are able to see more columns. You can move the Quote look up box to the rop instead, so it is not blocking the view. That means fewer rows are visible, but that is prefered of two evils.
2) The company name row is very broad. You should reduce the breadth by 2/3 and perhaps shrink the fonts and/or cut off the names. Again the lesser of two evils.
Best from a user pov is to go back to old version, but you also need to make money, so this could be an alternative.

Yahoo has completed the destruction. He made the waste and he is waiting for them to start using it.
They did not check in practice whether it is usable. We all say one thing here - it's unusable. There are so many errors that it is impossible to list them all. It's a mix of errors. In all respects it is a failure.
Still, Yahoo expects people to accept and use the garbage. What level of human stupidity is that? The only thing yahoo can do is delete thousands of negative reviews, so that's ignoring.
They don't want to talk about it with people. The level of unusability is so terrible that we'd all rather leave for other platforms that are usable. Yahoo treats users like the enemy. He gave people useless garbage as a Christmas present.
Is it sabotage? Someone inside YAHOO wants to destroy YAHOO FINANCE?
Or just someone ordered an unnecessary refurbishing of something that worked 100% before? What amateur result is this new yahoo finance?!? Yahoo paid a lot of money for useless garbage! Despite the thousands of votes that people wrote here, they think that people will accept the waste and use it.

2. Access the desired YF page directly through your bookmarks.
3. Refrain from clicking any links on that page.
4. Read the information quickly, if you can, before the browser crashes.
5. Close the YF page as soon as possible to prevent memory overload and avoid freezing your computer. -
