Portfolio2.0
Portfolio 2.0 not showing up in web version of finance..how to revert to original?

We appreciate your feedback regarding the new portfolio view. Our product team has reviewed these suggestions are is working on implementing changes. One thing we are implementing is a collapsible dock in the portfolio view so you can view more holding data.

Let me edit my notes in pfo 2.0. Recently I changed my pfo to 2.0 as you recommended, but I can not edit my notes for the stocks. The notes are very important comments or things to remember for me. If you have 200 stocks in your pfo, can you remember the particular things of each stocks without coments?

I've been using the Yahoo app to bring together all my accounts from different brokerages. These accounts have stocks I've bought over the years. But in the new version of the app, I can't add existing batches of stocks with different purchase dates without digging up the historical data for each purchase. It's a huge time drain, and I'm not sure why I need to duplicate data that the brokerages already give me. Plus, it's not really necessary for consolidating my info here. If I were starting fresh and input all the dates, quantities, and costs from the beginning, this tool could be really helpful. Do you know of method to do this using existing programming, or can you reprogram to create new way to add transactions that represent batches of stocks with known data?

"Yahoo Finance is operated by Yahoo Inc. In 2021, Apollo Global Management", Inc. (NYSE: APO) acquired Yahoo. this tells us why they have said **** with the viewers, our data has been sold to Apollo Mgt. The new transaction function is worthless. Professionals came up with this? Glad they are not selecting my stocks.

Agree with the comments. By requiring a transaction with date and cost you have ruined the simple view I was using for years. Portfolio 2.0 does not provide me with the utility I want. It would be nice to have the option to revert.

As far as I understand, several programmers were offended and do not want to just make two options to choose from? Judging by the comments that no one has taken into account since the beginning of the year, it turns out that way...? Or am I wrong? Just give the option to choose between the simple view and the portfolio 2.0 view. Yes, by the way, we are in the world of finance. This is a simple answer that should have a quick answer...

The comments already posted about having the ability to revert to the basic version Is it great idea. As others have already said, I don’t need anywhere near that much information on my portfolio page. Essentially, if I have number of shares, price, daily change and total value for each of my stocks I am good to go. Hopefully it will not be that difficult to implement some of these changes that have been requested.

Give us a choice between the original portfolio veiw and this new "portfolio 2.0", which I do not like for my simple tracking needs. I would not now or ever link my brokerage accounts to a second or third party site. Too many security issues to risk everything I've ever worked for on.

A week or two ago I received a message from Yahoo Finance asking me to upgrade to Portfolio 2.0 since you were no longer going to support the old release. As soon as I upgraded, I lost significant data, including the dates and amounts of various purchases and sales. In addition, the portfolio doesn't even add correctly. It doesn't include 12,000 shares of SPY in the $$ total and it says I have a negative $6M cash balance. Worst of all, you won't even allow me to convert back to the old portfolio format. I know you still support it because of still have some other portfolios using it.

Missing functionality in 2.0 eliminates its utility for me. It is the functionality in the "Holdings" tab. In the original, the columns were Symbol, Shares, Ave Cost / Share, Price, Day's Gain, Day's Gain %, Total Gain, Total Gain %, and Market Value.
This Holdings tab was hugely useful; the user could sort on any of these columns. 2.0 Holdings is worthless. I must click on each stock individually with no ability to sort. Maybe okay with a small portfolio but very disappointing with a larger portfolio.
If not corrected, I will abandon Yahoo 2.0. I am miffed because AOL portfolio was fine until Yahoo took over.

Why is there NO option to return to the classic Yahoo Finance? The website automatically defaults to the new and horrible YF!

Please allow a way to go back to original portfolio. This is horrible. Takes many extra clicks to get to what you want. When looking at 'Holdings' view on iphone, I can get the old performance view if I click the 'square' on the far right. But, when in that view I cannot click on the ticker symbol to get the daily details. Give us back what was working!

I have already posted my total disappointment with this “new” 2.0 version of yahoo finance. 1.0 “was” a completely functional and useful tool for everyday quick reference. There was “nothing” wrong with it from a performance stand point. I am reading “multiple” comments that have the same opinion.
Here is my straight to the point question: Can someone not at least produce a comment or acknowledgement that you are aware of our concerns and are looking to resolve the problem?
Or, are you just hoping we will just go away so this pitiful excess for an “Upgrade” can sit there and stagnate?
We await you action…!!!!!
Thank you for your time and attention!😤
