Portfolio2.0
Portfolio 2.0 not showing up in web version of finance..how to revert to original?

We appreciate your feedback regarding the new portfolio view. Our product team has reviewed these suggestions are is working on implementing changes. One thing we are implementing is a collapsible dock in the portfolio view so you can view more holding data.

The “old” Portfolio was my go-to multiple times a day. I could see how my stocks were doing, sort by $ &/or % up & down, click on a stock to see important news impacting it. Portfolio 2.0 removes ALL of that! Other than making the stock symbol pretty, I’m at a complete loss regarding what the improvements are supposed to be. I tried to go back to the “old” Portfolio but I can’t. I’m currently searching for an alternative. If this format changes, please email me. I doubt I’ll be using this anymore.

I changed all my portfolios to 2.0 and now I cannot updated them on my mobile devices. On the web, they don't even exist anymore, my portfolios & watchlists are blank.
Fix this Yahoo please or I'm gone for good. -

Absolute garbage, go back to how it was. Can't even add holdings.

What a disaster. Read only watchlist. Can't update anything. No way to go back to old version. No warning that this was beta. I had to start over with the old system and re-enter everything. The site was fine the way it was.

Portfolio 2.0 has its merits. However the replaced portfolio format is useful in its own way. They are substantially different. Now, it seems that only 2.0 versions can be created. Please allow creation of a portfolio in either format...don't dictate we have to use only 2.0 version.

Not decided wether I like it or not yet.
Under "My Portfolio":
The "Total Return" and "Total Gain (unrealized)" are surely confusing.
Looks like "Total Return" is realized gain including dividends.
Could do with a manual or guide. -

Did the design team at Yahoo try to mimic TD Ameritrade "Think or swim"? If so they failed miserably! Insted of seeing important information at a glance you now have to click...and click...slide the mouse, and click..... And data entry functions are a bookkepers delight. Commision fees? REALLY?? In this day of no commisions what a waste! Hey, why don't you add a "Exchange fee" feild too?

I don't like portfolio 2.0! How can I go back to previous version of portfolio?

stop upgrading the site. just stop. or you wont have to worry about it because all the eyeballs will go to another website to get their information. The portfolio portion works just fine the way it is leave it alone.

I would like to see a "Percent of change option for the 5 year interval" column added to profiles. The current one year change is not representative of the actual action for a long-term investor like me. Compare the all time high (about two years ago) with the high listed by Yahoo finance (one year) for 3M and you will see what I mean. 5 years is much more representative of the actual state of 3M stock price.

I am not going to answer your stupid surveys if you aren't going to fix it so the ad does not appear on portfolio print outs.
