Portfolio2.0
Portfolio 2.0 not showing up in web version of finance..how to revert to original?

We appreciate your feedback regarding the new portfolio view. Our product team has reviewed these suggestions are is working on implementing changes. One thing we are implementing is a collapsible dock in the portfolio view so you can view more holding data.

Terrible new page that I guess I was forced into; takes forever to load, the basics like Dow and Nasdaq are not on the top but on the side which is ******** and it takes forever just to check out a company's stock quote. TERRIBLE and will search for better page

Agree, I used to be able to see all of my columns across the entire width of my browser. Now I can only see half of them with a scroll bar way down on the bottom. The side bar is only useful when you are looking at the details of one specific company, I want to see spx, nasdaq, oil, gold, etc on the top where they used to be. And there is a ton of wasted space on either side.

As a long time user (around 30 years) of YAHOO search engine and Finance you are forcing me to abandon YAHOO. So sad and disappointing that you have decided to throw me away. A lot of time and energy used in building classic portfolios has been thrown away by YOU. Along with ease of use. Judging by the feedback response I am sure no one in a responsible position will see how badly you have treated your users. IF THEY DID YOU WOULD LOSE YOUR JOBS!!!!!!!!!!!! If only Apollo Management (parent company) knew of your appalling decisions in the name of "improvement". Maybe YAHOO could be saved. I imagine when the drop off in users effects your advertising revenue someone will belatedly notice, track you down ane fire those responsible. WHAT A BUNCH OF A-- MONKEYS!!!!!!

I agree that this change is terrible, and I will add one other annoyance to the long list of complaints given by other commenters. In the previous view I could scan down below My Portfolio and see a concise list of news items, each one identified with a bold stock symbol so that I knew immediately which stock the article was about. I could scan that list easily looking for news on a specific company. That ease and efficiency is now gone. Plus, I have to scroll through the portfolio characterizations before i can get to the News. Please let us have the old view as an option.

I deleted all my portfolios and started to follow up in excel, the enhanced view is really bad!

Why does the yahoo finance controller(s) feel they have to keep changing the portfolio page. Your enhanced view is just plain terrible. When you make changes on the stock page columns and click save it reverts back to the way YOU have it set up. The changes are frustrating to use and I wish you would put it back the way it was before you screwed it up.

I don't know why Yahell has to always ef around with perfectly good user interfaces. They've been screwing with Mail forever, making it cumbersome and hard to use, now they've ruined the Finance page. Hey Yahoo, just stop already.

I agree with the naysayers. It's patently awful. So much garbage and popups on the screen... it's sloooow, sliding back and forth... if I want to see analyst's comments, I don't need a popup in the middle of what I'm trying to read. Have you actually used it? Ugh.
Please go back to the classic format... useful (mostly), simple, easier to use.

Your newest Yahoo! Finance Portfolio Page (11/221/2024) sucks! Get rid of the column on the right. The page is getting junk-filled!

I don't understand how Yahoo Finance can simply drop a new Portfolio view overnight and a) not warn us in advance or b) allow us to revert to what we had up until yesterday. I seem to have lost all YTD and Lifetime Dividend data on My Holdings portfolio. I have lost Lot data. The news and market updates to the right mean I can't get a full screen view of my Portfolio. In addition, the premium Performance comparison graphs and data are incorrect. When I compare my Portfolio to the S&P, NASDAQ, or Dow, it says that all are up 46.65% YTD. It is absolutely horrid. Please allow us to revert back!!!!!!

It is a dissaster. Scrolling up and down, left and right... At least the Market column on the right side of the screen should be able to turn off and the main portfolio window to be enlarged.

You just recently changed my 2 most important portfolios to something that's almost unusable. Go back Portfolios 2.0 which were bad enough, but it's just getting worse and worse. You now show a 3 inch wide section on the right side of the screen that shows all my portfolios, one below them other. That's totally useless and uses up space that otherwise could display my Comment section. You eliminated the Extended View of Portfolios, now you have to click on each individual stock. You now show a column for Total Dividend Income. How can I delete this useless column to better display relevant information? I preferred the version BEFORE 2.0, which I've used for over 35 years. All these recent changes are garbage; there was NO valid reason to change a perfectly functional program that worked for everybody. Finally got used to Version 2.0, and you made some more bad changes. When will it end? ==>> GO BACK.

If you want to get people off of your platform, I would do exactly what Yahoo did with their horrible new Yahoo Finance rollout. Impose it on the users, let them find the problems, and don't offer an alternative to go back to the prior platform.
