Portfolio 2.0 not showing up in web version of finance..how to revert to original?

We appreciate your feedback regarding the new portfolio view. Our product team has reviewed these suggestions are is working on implementing changes. One thing we are implementing is a collapsible dock in the portfolio view so you can view more holding data.

Disaster!!! Come on Yahoo return to original. WE CAN'T USE now. What were you thinking. You have destroyed all the good that was there. Did you even look at the MESS you created.

The new system allows for editing the portfolio (not intuitive) and as I attempt to enter data, the screen flips to the very beginning! I then have to search for the entry yet again! Sometimes it saves the 'partial' information and other times it doesn't. There HAS to be a better way to edit information!

I hate 2.0. I can't figure out how to edit number of shares when they increase due to reinvesting dividends. Please HELP

MY stock listing has been deleted by 2/3rds...NOtes consisting of purchase dates, quantities and pricing is obliterated.... If this is an improvement you are sorely mistaken...

Absolutely accurate!! Taking something that works so well and getting rid of it for something that is terrible is an Awful decision!!

I agree with everyone, 2.0 is a disaster, all of transactions dont show any data. Any ideas on other platforms that might have similar functions as the old portfolio?

The previous Yahoo finance was very good and quite handy, and quite concise in its information presentation. Version 2.0 is slow, not concise, and difficult to navigate. After spending 40 years in IT, not everything needs to be fixed. I realize there are new technologies for the backend processing which are probably easier to maintain now, but the prestation of the website (even using newer technologies) can remain the same, or at least similar, so the consumer using the service doesn't have to spend a lot of time adjusting workflows. Doing so just opens the door for people to move to other platforms and abandoning Yahoo. Yahoo had a good product in its exiting Finance platform. If they want to add new features, just add them to the existing product. I used Yahoo to get work done, not learn a new platform and redo all my workflows for no particular reason. You should preserve the existing platform and abandon the 2.0. If you want to modify the platform, you should at least consult your userbase.

They had a good system. Conversion to the new one requires a lot of manual effort. Very sorry to see how awkward a simple process has morphed into.

this new version absolutley sucks... I trade my own stocks... 15-20 tabs open... check on each regularly... and it constantly screws up my progress.. loads up so slowly and mostly never fully loads to be functional for me... get rid of it and stop asking me to 'try' this new version.... What I'm using is not broken!! DAM IT!!

Like R. Meyerson, I've used the portfolio in myYahoo for years with separate family portfolios where I could follow multiple equity, mutual fund and 3 watch lists for grandsons. Yesterday they all disappeared. How can they be recovered to use in the new finance format???

After many years constructing 15 or so Portfolios containing over 1,000 stocks, everything was lost in the blink of an eye. Having tried every conceivable way to access my data, I have to conclude it's Yahoo's fault, probably due to converting to the awful Portfolio 2.0 (that I did NOT choose to do). Yahoo's answer amounts to "Too bad." Anybody have an alternative portfolio management website?

Software development and testing leaves much to be desired. And, as a result, Yahoo has lost a lot of credibility and loyalty. Why not hold off encouraging conversion to 2.0 until problems have been addressed and resolved? Then request convertion to 2.0.

I disagree completely. Portfolio 2.0 is a big improvement over the previous version because it manages cash and dividends. True it often gets the dividend amounts wrong but I believe they are working on a fix.

In viewing "My Portfolio", I used to have a viewing column "High Limit" and Low Limit" and I entered a certain dollar value when I plan to sell or buy that stock. Now it shows in my chosen view but there is no way to edit it.

With Portfolio 1.0 I was able to quickly look at my various portfolios as well as My Holdings total $$ on the my.yahoo.com page. With portfolio 2.0 the total amount of My Holdings does not appear in the header of My Holdings on the my.yahoo.com page.
To see My Holdings total amount now I have to navigate to the bottom of the display on my.yahoo.com to select a link to navigate to the finance.yahoo.com/portfolios page. Then, after checking a box on that page to "Include Portfolio 2.0 values", My Holdings total is displayed.
I haven't made any edits, buys, or solds since implementing Portfolio 2.0, but based on the comments I've seen, I'm not looking forward to it . . .
Quit trying to fix what ain't broke. Give us back Portfolio 1.0.
