As of Mar25 still having bugs with Firefox
I have two Portfolios with 28 entries. When I try to Print, the Holdings Summary is on the 1st page the rest of the page is blank, then on 2nd page he entries are listed. At the end of the entries on the 2nd page, there are logos and text from a later ad page
This needs to be cleaned up and formatted correctly

I would like to convert back to basic from enhanced. The new version is much slower, and I can not figure out how to edit my positions. The basic format worked much better.

I joined everybody here: "Bring back the classic view until you sort out the mess"

What a mess. As of today, my predefined sequence (order) of positions in my portfolio changed. I can't get back my original sequence.

So the RAM banquet continues, eating up every bit of it I have on a relatively new and very souped-up computer and you've done NOTHING about it. Now when I go to Yahoo portfolios it loads up the Australian version and thank god for that. That site works fine, so it isn't exactly rocket science to compare the two sites and to figure it out. The problem with the Australian site for a US user is that it has different links to news articles and there is no access to Community boards, making me switch back and forth as if the entire past year hasn't been annoying enough.

Bring back the classic view until you sort out the mess that the new version is. Its almost unuseable with the speed and computing resources it eats up!

I am 77 years old and need the option to return to the old portfolio view. I worked hard to get it where it functioned perfectly for me. Now, I can't use the new one at all. How can you take my personal information which I have arranged to be the proper solution for me and delete it without permission. Why can't you simply give those of us who prefer the old version a chance to get it restored. What do you gain by not offering that?

Still crashing my computer - if I let it - by eating up RAM.

In the Option chains of stocks, the ability to organize columns for Volume and Open Interest from highest to lowest and vice versa needs to be brought back. No idea why that was taken away in the updated version.

RSI, PSAR, Bollinger Bands - nothing of this works after a page reload (Firefox here).
And you absolutely have to reload the page as after adding these indicators and changing the Period (1 min / 1 day / 4 hours) the entire chart becomes blank and doesn't load any new data on it.
Aren't the setting supposed to be encoded in the URL? Copy-pasting an URL into a new tab no longer works.
Sometimes the page starts quickly toggling between periods, endlessly.
Guys, do you develop in production? Really?

The first major "improvement" you need to work on is all the things you removed from what was the Classic View. Market across the top, Full screen display of our views (and your default views), 0ne year portfolio versus S&P graph, Risk profile, Valuation, Diversity, and Current dividend announcements - all gone now (or non-functional and/pr placed far below default view. This is not an "improvement" task, it's a user demand for someone to admit that making something you think the users would like - without asking the users - only has one viable choice to make going forward.

Each page for a stock, etf, mutual fund, etc. used to have a box on the upper-right showing how many shares your owned, cost-basis, etc. That is now gone. That is an essential feature.

Does anyone like the new format except for Yahoo? Why change something that worked and everybody loved?
-
Joseph Letizia commented
It's a pretty simple analysis - everyone loved classic....everyone hates the new format. Just go back to classic, and if there are other design or commercial objectives that your team is trying to accomplish, weave them into the classic format. I find it hard to believe that a wholesale redesign was necessary. IT design "change management" starts with "business requirements", and the first requirement should be don't break what is working.

If you are not going to allow us to go back to the great previous format you had (Yahoo Finance Classic) can you at least make the markets stuff be larger and at the top of the screen?

Bring back the option to view Classic Yahoo Finance. I find the newer setup too cluttered and slow. If the option is not returned, I will be looking elsewhere for my financial info.
