    In order to do that please tap on your profile picture in the Yahoo Mail App > Settings > Security.

  4. Delete key on my keyboard no longer works reliably to delete messages

    Yahoo Mail used to let me delete messages from my inbox by hitting the delete key on my keyboard, rather than clicking on Yahoo's delete button. Recently this has stopped working all the time. Sometimes it still works when I hit delete once, sometimes it works if I hit delete multiple times, and sometimes it doesn't work no matter how many times I hit delete. Can you please restore the previous functionality? Having to click on Yahoo's "delete" button is more cumbersome than just hitting the delete button on my keyboard.

  6. get it to work today - disappearing read email in Outlook and....

    Sorry if this is the wrong place but I can't find a means to supply feedback to Yahoo though I have already to Microsoft. Below is a copy of what I have sent to Microsoft. It started on Tuesday the 22nd..

    "Outlook 2016 and ymail - mail downloaded read then disappears from client and server.
    I'm having some serious problems with my Ymail email. After downloading and reading them they disappear from my inbox in Outlook AND via webmail...

    I use IMAP, no filtering, no mail forwarding, only one mail rule in Outlook and it is not to blame, there…

    The issue should be fixed. If you’ve verified that your account is working outside of the app and you’ve checked the other possible solutions, then there’s something wrong with the app you’re using. The app manufacturer may have additional troubleshooting steps to try. Alternatively, you can use a different third-party email app.

  7. every time i turn on my computer and open up my yahoo mail, the old version is back and i have to manually switch it to the newest version..

    Make it so the new version of email stays whenever i open it up so i dont have to manually have to do it every time.

    Do not delete accounts that are still in use,even if they haven't been used for years.
    My account was deleted,now i can't sign in on any platform it was used for.

    Hello there.

    Depending on your account’s history, it’s possible for it to be removed from Yahoo and become inaccessible. You can always sign up for a new Yahoo Account, but keep in mind that your old Yahoo ID won’t be available for you to use. These actions can result in an account being deleted:

    You requested that your account be deleted.
    You haven’t signed into your account within the last 12 months.
    Your account was used in a way that violates our Terms of Service.

  12. New Yahoo email is nonfunctional, please return to the old version

    New Yahoo email is nonfunctional. I have NOT been able to use my email since the "mandatory" switch, last week. If I didn't have so much business related emails stored in my Yahoo email, I would just get rid of this service altogether. This is truly sad....seeing that I have been using yahoo for close to 20 years....I have never been this dissatisfied with Yahoo EVER....until now

    Also, please make sure to update your browser and if the problem still persists try to access Yahoo Mail in another browser.

  15. Suddenly so many emails just fail to arrive in my inbox.

    The senders' addresses have not changed since 8 years ago and they have worked fine so far, but suddenly they start failing to arrive at all. Not in my SPAM box, not in my inbox. My yahoo mail became so unreliable - I am not receiving emails!!

  16. Yahoo randomly logs me out in the middle of sending an email!

    This keeps happening! I'm in the process of sending an email and before the sending process completes, it wants me to log in AGAIN, and my email is lost and I have to start all over again. It's not saved in drafts, it's just gone! FIX THIS PROBLEM! Your programming code allows this, so fix it.

  18. This e-mail system seems to get worse as time goes on.

    I used to love my e-mail system, but after whomever took over it is getting worse I have lost sent piciures yo friends and some messaging as well. Very frustrating system to work with!! If you asked me should I go back to the original I would respond very affirmative to that.

  20. next mail message opens in the middle, not the top anymore. Why?

    Use Case: I'm reading an email in my Inbox. I'm finished so I delete it. Yahoo Mail automatically opens the next email - so far so good. However, now the next email is opened at the bottom or middle, wherever I was when I exited the last email. So I have to scroll up manually to see the top of the email. WHY? Previously after I deleted a read email Yahoo Mail would open the next one a the top.

    Please go to settings – click on the gear icon on the top right corner- select more settings from the drop-down- on the left side of the screen in the settings page click on Viewing email- on the menu that opens in the next column scroll down and under “After moving a message” select “Go back to original folder”Changes are saved automatically.
