    If the email is highlighted and you press the delete option on your keyboard please wait after deleting the email. The highlight will move to the next email, and if you press delete again, it will delete that too. If the email is still in the trash folder, you can restore it to the inbox.

    Hi People. So Yahoo is acting weird. At first, it seemed like it clipped my message, but I could see the entire message on my phone, but not on my laptop. G mail does clip the email but I didn't know it about Yahoo. Although, it doesn't seem like it's clipping since I can see the entire thing on my phone. Has anyone ever faced this problem or know the reason behind it? Thank you!

    You may just need to adjust the zoom settings in your web browser. Hold down the CTRL key and press the + key at the same time until the text looks right. You can also hold down CTRL and press the 0 key at the same time to reset the zoom to default.

  5. Why do we need to use the recaptcha system?

    When did we have to start going through the "recaptcha" step to log into mail? (I'd ask why, but I already know that - someone at Yahoo got bored and thought it would be fun to change things "just because we can"...) It's an email account....not like we're logging into the TSA database....

    Yahoo uses CAPTCHA verification to protect against spam or other unauthorized account access. By selecting the correct images, you verify you’re human and not a spam-sending computer.

  6. Touch ID- Keeps turning off

    In the Yahoo Mail app, I love the security setting where you have to unlock the app with Touch ID. I have it set for immediately, but it keeps turning off. I'll set it for immediately, use it several times throughout the day and later that day or the next day I"ll find it turned off.

    Please make this setting permanent/persistent.

  7. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE

    There is answer what so ever in the yahoo help that explains how you can recover your password if your phone number you used as a recovery number has changed, and there is no recovery email. But I can pay 5.00 to talk to someone. What a scam!!!

  8. Constant Authentication Process

    For the past few days, I've had to change my password several times. This is utterly annoying as I need to remember them and can't keep track, not to mention the fact that having to constantly go through the authentication processes is a terrible nuisance.

    I urge you to look into this problem ASAP as I won't keep using your services if this isn't solved quickly.

  9. How do I get my vacation email to STOP?

    When I signed up, I was able to do a "vacation message". I thought I got rid of it LAST YEAR, but it's still giving people grief.

    Hello there. To turn off vacation response, go to Settings-More Settings-Vacation response then toggle off it.

    When composing an email, on the right side of the To field click on the CC/BCC option.

  11. Why make a good thing complicated and bad?

    The privacy settings require me to have my phone able to receive messages to access my mail. I travel a lot for work and cannot always receive messages, making it impossible to access my mail while I travel.

    I can not any YAHOO Help email or chat, so I posted here, hope can get reply :
    I just want to know how to configure my printer ? in Yahoo Email there is only a print butter I can not find how to configure, like , choose printer / one side or 2 side / portrait or landscape ?????

    Now when I click the print , it go to save into a PDF file....

  14. when adding a URL link into an email-how to stop the obnoxious huge box that appears

    when adding an url/website name to an email, I used to be able to TURN OFF the HUGE BOX WITH GARBAGE IN IT. The NEW downgraded yahoo mail has it back. How do I TURN IT OFF???

    To resolve this, go to Settings-More Settings-Writing email then toggle off the ‘’Automatically generate a preview of links’’ option.

  16. delete email after deleting from trash

    On my dashboard, it says I have 331 emails. It is a history of emails for the last 4+ years. I want to delete forever any and all emails and not have any email saved. Thanks

    Hello there. Once you have deleted your emails from the Trash folder as well, they will remain on our servers for 7 more days (you can recover them in this time frame). After 7 days, you emails are deleted forever.

    The Trash folder is located on the left side menu. You can delete emails by clicking on the Trash icon that appear on the right side of your emails (while you’re hovering over the list) or by selecting an email then click Delete.

  19. I lost my original account (************)

    ********is the same person as ********. I am now having to work on computer or tablet instead of my android phone. You have mistakenly started me a new student instead of one with 195 consecutive days of work (not counting the 23 plus 3 days lossed due to Internet problems). Again, as of today 26July I have 195 day and I use *as my user name. My email address is**************** or ****************. Sprint has asked me to do this work on anything
    other than my phone due to plan usage. Please connect the dots Pegianne is GiGi.
